Alright, UFO sightings—the military can't explain them. Congressional hearings, Pentagon whistleblowers, and armadas of strange aircraft flying over, of all places, New Jersey. What does it all mean?
Since last year's groundbreaking interview with whistleblower David Grusch, NewsNation has been leading the coverage on this story. And now, we have another major exclusive. A whistleblower is coming forward, not just claiming he's heard about a secret government program to retrieve UFO crash remains—he says he's worked on it.
He claims to have video evidence, credentials, and colleagues who back him up. He’s also caught the attention of at least one senior lawmaker. NewsNation's Ross Coulthart has been working on this story for over a year and conducted the interview for a special report airing this Saturday at 8:00 PM Eastern. NewsNation correspondent Joe Khalil is here with a first look. Joe, these are pretty stunning claims.
Joe Khalil:
Yeah, they are, Elizabeth. The man in the video, Jake Barbour, is an Air Force veteran coming forward with shocking claims. He’s the first person to publicly state that he directly participated in a secret military program to retrieve UFO or alien craft.
Barbour says he was contracted as a helicopter pilot to retrieve all kinds of crashed craft. While some were top secret but explainable, he believes others were of non-human origin. And he’s not alone—three other military veterans are backing up his story, on the record and on camera. Take a listen to part of Ross Coulthart’s conversation with Barbour.
Ross Coulthart (interview):
So, tell me about the moment when you realized you were involved in a retrieval.
Jake Barbour:
It became very clear the first time our communication process was modified. And visually, just looking at the object on the ground, you could tell it was extraordinary and anomalous. It was not human.
Ross Coulthart:
How close did you get?
Jake Barbour:
Well, I was a helicopter pilot, operating with 150- to 200-foot-long lines, so I got within 150 feet of this object.
Ross Coulthart:
What did you see?
Jake Barbour:
I saw a shiny white object. There was no visible propulsion system, no engine, no signature. I was operating at night under night vision goggles, and it was quite clear. I flipped them up and down and looked at it in a couple of different ways.
Ross Coulthart:
How did you know it was of non-human origin?
Jake Barbour:
After seeing all kinds of things in my career, it was clearly something ridiculous, something inconsistent with anything I’d ever seen before. The reaction from my team confirmed it—we all knew we were dealing with something extraordinary.
Joe Khalil:
Barbour also claims that this experience has been confirmed to him by ranking members of the UAP Task Force, who told him the object was indeed a UFO. He adds that this wasn’t a unique experience.
This Saturday at 8:00 PM Eastern, you’ll see the special report, including exclusive video of one of these retrievals—footage that has never been shown before. We’ve also confirmed that Barbour has met with high-level Senate staff.

Wow, that’s a blockbuster. Alright, Joe Khalil, thanks so much. Everyone can watch the special report, *Hunting UFOs*, this weekend.
Lol, it is a bizarre aircraft from 1942, something to illustrate what possible variations of aircraft that the government could have in the air for generations since WWII.
If you guys think that the mention doesn’t have a place in your space alien explanation, then so be it, space aliens it is, for you.
You should read some basic literature on this stuff.

Lol, I have read much on the UFO thing over my lifetime, many of us that don’t think space aliens are among us have read much about it over the last 60 years, I even had a best running buddy who wrote a book on his space alien friend, if you used to listen to Art Bell you would have heard him on the show many times.
The trick is to separate the signal from the noise.
The field has an army of fraudsters and deluded characters.
In addition the Pentagon and the Intelligence Community has littered the subject with disinformation to further muddy the waters.
I have given you some links that are solid.
My friend was obviously respected and trusted, and an expert in the field of the space aliens.
Give me a name—and let us see if I trusted and respected them.
It won’t help with you, your nature is to always disagree and argue, Art Bell and his world respected the man, and trusted him, and listened to him as an expert on the show on the fields he was involved in.
Did you listen to Art Bell?
Art Bell had some interesting guests and some kooky ones.
Some of the real crazy guests I remember were Ed Dames who kept ranting about the end of the world.
Then there was that nut who claimed aliens lived in a big hole beneath his property...
There were several folks who claimed they were time travelers.
Where do the space aliens live?
“Where do the space aliens live?”
Wherever they want to....
Lol.
No opinion? Could it be the Pleiadian star? Many think so.
Do a lot of reading to learn your opinion on where you think the home planet is for the space aliens among us, no thanks.
Fair enough—here is a one word summary of where the aliens live:
Earth.
They didn’t arrive from a distant planet? My friend in his writings, books, lectures and appearances said the are from the Pleiadian star, you think they are native to earth it seems, which would make them just, us.
I am not persuaded any are from distant stars.
I do believe that aliens are liars who enjoy telling tall tales about distant stars to gullible humans.
The “clue” is in the history.
In the 1950s the aliens told contactees they were from Venus or Mars.
In the 1960s the aliens told Betty and Barney Hill they were from Zeta Retiuli and told other contactees they were from other star systems.
Nowadays they are just as likely to tell the contactee they are from the Galactic Federation and the contactee just got nominated as the Earth Ambassador.
They are hilarious liars—Jacque Vallee loved to joke about the alien pranksters.
Whatever that means, your posts aren’t explaining anything about what it is you believe.
That long document you did not want to read explains what I believe are the most likely explanations.
Time travelers is one possibility.
Ancient high tech civilizations that were forced to move underground by cataclysms is another possibility.
Mutated versions of humans that also hid underground are another possibility.
The document lists other possibilities as well.
The aliens just look too much like us—two arms, two legs, one head, two eyes—these are clues....
If they want their privacy lying is the best way to keep it—they may have had millions of years of practice.
The contact experiences are just so numerous—all through recorded history—the notion that they are flying back and forth to distant stars makes no sense.
It is like commuting to work in rush hour traffic when you can just as easily work at home.
:-)
I never said it was space aliens. But maybe you have a vivid imagination and can write paragraphs of nonsense from thin air.
The two, solid looking, disc shaped things I saw - a silent silver metallic one in daylight that was at a height of approximately 2,000 ft moving fast against the wind ,pausing, then disappearing into a low small cloud which itself quickly disappeared, and another one at night, silent again, that was below me in the valley and rose up and passed over my head and hovered momentarily at a height of approximately 400 ft before shooting off towards the SW at high speed - were not flapjacks, applejack, Venus, balloons, swamp gas, B2 bombers seen head on, or any of the other cockamamie things you folks who aren't witnesses yet with your vivid imaginations tend to say they are.
They looked like flying saucers. If we have them in our military arsenal - yay us! Yay breakaway civilization and non-government oversight. Pretty retarded of them to be testing over populated areas in the Northeast tho'.
Excellent point. Most animal life on Earth has the same basic body plan: four limbs, head above the torso, two eyes and ears, one nose (with two nostrils) and mouth. Organs generally the same and in the same general locations. There is no reason why extraterrestrial life should have the same body plan.
