Lol, it is a bizarre aircraft from 1942, something to illustrate what possible variations of aircraft that the government could have in the air for generations since WWII.
If you guys think that the mention doesn’t have a place in your space alien explanation, then so be it, space aliens it is, for you.
You should read some basic literature on this stuff.

I never said it was space aliens. But maybe you have a vivid imagination and can write paragraphs of nonsense from thin air.
The two, solid looking, disc shaped things I saw - a silent silver metallic one in daylight that was at a height of approximately 2,000 ft moving fast against the wind ,pausing, then disappearing into a low small cloud which itself quickly disappeared, and another one at night, silent again, that was below me in the valley and rose up and passed over my head and hovered momentarily at a height of approximately 400 ft before shooting off towards the SW at high speed - were not flapjacks, applejack, Venus, balloons, swamp gas, B2 bombers seen head on, or any of the other cockamamie things you folks who aren't witnesses yet with your vivid imaginations tend to say they are.
They looked like flying saucers. If we have them in our military arsenal - yay us! Yay breakaway civilization and non-government oversight. Pretty retarded of them to be testing over populated areas in the Northeast tho'.
