Alright, UFO sightings—the military can't explain them. Congressional hearings, Pentagon whistleblowers, and armadas of strange aircraft flying over, of all places, New Jersey. What does it all mean?
Since last year's groundbreaking interview with whistleblower David Grusch, NewsNation has been leading the coverage on this story. And now, we have another major exclusive. A whistleblower is coming forward, not just claiming he's heard about a secret government program to retrieve UFO crash remains—he says he's worked on it.
He claims to have video evidence, credentials, and colleagues who back him up. He’s also caught the attention of at least one senior lawmaker. NewsNation's Ross Coulthart has been working on this story for over a year and conducted the interview for a special report airing this Saturday at 8:00 PM Eastern. NewsNation correspondent Joe Khalil is here with a first look. Joe, these are pretty stunning claims.
Joe Khalil:
Yeah, they are, Elizabeth. The man in the video, Jake Barbour, is an Air Force veteran coming forward with shocking claims. He’s the first person to publicly state that he directly participated in a secret military program to retrieve UFO or alien craft.
Barbour says he was contracted as a helicopter pilot to retrieve all kinds of crashed craft. While some were top secret but explainable, he believes others were of non-human origin. And he’s not alone—three other military veterans are backing up his story, on the record and on camera. Take a listen to part of Ross Coulthart’s conversation with Barbour.
Ross Coulthart (interview):
So, tell me about the moment when you realized you were involved in a retrieval.
Jake Barbour:
It became very clear the first time our communication process was modified. And visually, just looking at the object on the ground, you could tell it was extraordinary and anomalous. It was not human.
Ross Coulthart:
How close did you get?
Jake Barbour:
Well, I was a helicopter pilot, operating with 150- to 200-foot-long lines, so I got within 150 feet of this object.
Ross Coulthart:
What did you see?
Jake Barbour:
I saw a shiny white object. There was no visible propulsion system, no engine, no signature. I was operating at night under night vision goggles, and it was quite clear. I flipped them up and down and looked at it in a couple of different ways.
Ross Coulthart:
How did you know it was of non-human origin?
Jake Barbour:
After seeing all kinds of things in my career, it was clearly something ridiculous, something inconsistent with anything I’d ever seen before. The reaction from my team confirmed it—we all knew we were dealing with something extraordinary.
Joe Khalil:
Barbour also claims that this experience has been confirmed to him by ranking members of the UAP Task Force, who told him the object was indeed a UFO. He adds that this wasn’t a unique experience.
This Saturday at 8:00 PM Eastern, you’ll see the special report, including exclusive video of one of these retrievals—footage that has never been shown before. We’ve also confirmed that Barbour has met with high-level Senate staff.
Host:
Wow, that’s a blockbuster. Alright, Joe Khalil, thanks so much. Everyone can watch the special report, *Hunting UFOs*, this weekend.
I've never heard of Jake Barber so I don't know if he is credible or not.
That said, Coulthart has extensive military contacts and usually vets people carefully (for what it's worth).
New UAP whistleblower describes 'egg-shaped' object; Trump pledges drone report | Reality Check (51:00 minutes)
I couldn’t sleep, otherwise I might not have seen your post. I will look for it Saturday night. Hopefully the Men in Black won’t shut it down..
Thanks.
The UFO, as described in the 51:00 video transcript, was a white, egg-shaped object observed during a nighttime retrieval operation. The craft lacked any visible propulsion system, engine, or thermal signature, making it highly anomalous.
Jake Barber, the helicopter pilot conducting the retrieval, approached within 150 feet of the object while operating with night vision goggles. He was able to get a clear view of the craft both with and without the goggles.
The object’s design was sufficiently unusual that Barber and his team immediately believed it to be of non-human origin. Its appearance was described as “ridiculously looking” and entirely inconsistent with anything Barber had encountered before. Notably, Barber is allegedly part of a “recovery team” with prior experience recovering both known and unknown craft.
BTW, the size of the egg-shaped UFO was hinted at in the video transcript. Jake Barber, the helicopter pilot, mentioned that he operated with 150- to 200-foot-long lines during the retrieval and got within 150 feet of the object. While he did not explicitly state the object’s size, this proximity suggests it was substantial enough to warrant the use of long lines for transportation, implying it was likely not small. However, no specific dimensions were directly provided.
I know what you mean about not sleeping. I got up at 3:30 this morning because I couldn’t sleep.
I have that problem too. From years and years in a row of getting up at 2:00 Am for work and now even years later I can’t break it. I have tried.
This is pretty significant Rooster. I hope it works out as planned and no one “gets the phone call”.
Perhaps the government is releasing people from their NDAs in the furtherance of disclosure.
As an aside, Ross Coulthart has a good reputation for vetting his sources. It's will be interesting to find out what he knows about NDAs and corroborating sources re: Barber, etc.
I’ll be paying for it later, lol. Wife wants to go grocery shopping in the AM, so I better throw a couple more scoops of grounds in the coffee maker😴
Maybe the NDA had a time limit like a lot of non-compete contracts do?
Well, it is a good time to go shopping, before all the nuts and crackheads get up... :)
That’s not a bad price for a drone. I’ll check that out.
Yeah, that’s a fact! I dozed a bit, I guess I’ll give it another try. See ya later….🙂
The egg shape is the same shape as the 1945 Trinity claimed crash retrieval discussion in this book:

Extraordinary but not extraterrestrial.
“Egg shaped space ship?”? That could be Mork’s space ship from the old Mork and Mindy show.
Good point.
The consensus among those analyzing the data on this subject is that, if the phenomenon is real and involves non-human entities, it is likely not extraterrestrial.
According to Dr. Garry Nolan, a neurobiologist at Stanford School of Medicine, these entities appear to be terrestrial in origin and may predate humanity.
I have no idea what we are dealing with and am keeping an open mind on the subject. For all I know, we are all hallucinating.;-)
