WASHINGTON — Thanks to the internet and smartphones, children today have instant access to vast amounts of online pornography, much of it graphic, violent and degrading, Texas state attorneys told the Supreme Court on Wednesday.

I don’t think I’ve ever had a discussion with anyone that resulted in the other person telling me the Bible is equal to pornography.
But I’ll help you think a bit more clearly about it as follows:
1. In the Bible, we have God.
2. In pornography, we don’t have God.
Yes, I agree.
Yes, pornography was available back then.
You have a mythological view of the Founding Fathers and America in this time period.
I don’t want a link.
I want to see if you can articulate the points. If not, then I’m convinced you don’t understand what’s in the link you posted.
Your argument, everything you’ve posted, is reducible to the following incoherencies:
1. the Bible is the same thing as pornography
2. the role of pornography in 1776 was the same as it is today
LIberals don’t care about God. They would use the passages, like Jonothan kissing David or the Concubine to argue that the Bible either gets rewritten or it gets banned.
You are being obtuse, as thick as molasses, if you cannot see why liberals put porn in schools. They did it to attack the Bible and I showed you several news articles where liberals used the ban on pornography in schools to argue that the Bible should be banned for the very same reason.
You are the type of Christian that needs to see the fullness of evil of liberalism before you will see anything clearly. You need hindsight before you understand my words.
I am telling that liberal would want them treated equally. It’s not my view that they are equal. That wouldn’t stop the liberal from going to the Supreme Court to ban the Bible for the same reasons that you argue against pornography.
I never said that 1776 pornography was the same, just that it existed and the Founding Fathers knew about it and many of them had it in their book collections.
In fact, I’m starting to think that every formal argument favoring pornography proposed over the past century is based on nothing but the same two silly principles you propose.
Again, they are:
1. the Bible is the same thing as pornography
2. the role of pornography in 1776 was the same as it is today
But the incoherence of leftist arguments are simply that—incoherent.
They have no bearing on intelligent arguments by fearless men.
In the mind of the liberal, they are the same. The liberal would use those arguments to ban the Bible. You don’t seem to understand that.
You will understand when you are forced to hide in a hole to read the Bible.
They are only incoherent to you, but Supreme Court rules on matter of law. Based on the law that you want written, the Supreme Court could very well argue that the Bible can be banned.
Alright, you just added a third incoherent support for your favoring of pornography.
The three incoherent arguments, as you’ve stated them, are:
1. the Bible is the same thing as pornography
2. the role of pornography in 1776 was the same as it is today
3. leftists make flawed arguments, so we should be afraid of them and acquiesce to their anti-American agenda
There is nobody who can force me to hide in a hole to read the Bible.
To any who think they can, I say come on with it.
Everything you say we should do is based on fear.
There are no coherent arguments opposing the ban on pornography. If there were any, you’d be able to post them.
The closest you’ve come is in the three principles of Jonty30, each of which is silly and incoherent:
1. the Bible is the same thing as pornography
2. the role of pornography in 1776 was the same as it is today
3. leftists make flawed arguments, so we should be afraid of them and acquiesce to their anti-American agenda
You are proving me correct that you are ill-equipped to understand how liberals think.
You can say whatever you want, but your viewpoint is not based on the idea of equality under the law. I speak with liberals every day of my life. I understand how they think. You don’t and you won’t until you see it through hindsight.
They put pornography in schools for the express purpose of taking the Bible of schools. If Christians, like yourself, had been stupidly reactionary on the issue, you would see for yourself that what I’m telling you is quite correct.
In law, morality does not matter but equivalency does matter. The Supremes would not be looking at the issue based on morality, but whether the Bible falls under the same rule of law for content that pornography does.
That’s what you say right now, about not needing a hole. However, if liberals got their way you would need a hole to read your Bible.
Everything I say is based on how liberals do things.
“They would use the passages, like Jonothan kissing David or the Concubine to argue that the Bible either gets rewritten or it gets banned.”
There is no way any clear-thinking, fearless patriot would take this seriously.
As I said, you have a poor understanding of how law works. The law does not consider the goodness of an issue, just whether it is lawful.
