Are you saying the criminally corrupt in the U.S. government who flew in pallets of billions in tax dollars to the criminally corrupt running the Ukraine government didn't take any for themselves?

In Russia, those "incentives" are quite clear.
In the US, the Left has been much more clever:
a) fill media institutions with the indoctrinated, who do not think their job is to report the truth, but to support a leftist narrative. Many of them are so indoctrinated they do not even understand they are lying: they literally think that's their job;
b) any honest one who thinks he should report the facts or both sides of an argument is ostracized, demoted, or fired;
The Left and the oligarchs in the West have discovered that you don't need anything as crude as the FSB to generate constant propaganda: just create a monoculture in media institutions and corrupt the goals by changing them from truth to providing political support.
The oligarchs go along because the destructive politics of personal identity removes left-wing pressure to improve conditions for the working class, and DEI imperatives are a handy tool for terrorizing white employees or getting rid of older, better paid white employees.

Pointing to a source you don't like does not equate to "complete debunking".
These days, whenever I hear the word “debunked” or “disinformation” used to discredit and deny an allegation on a politically charges topic, my default position is that the allegations are probably factually correct.
90% of US aid paid for weaponry from the US, for which, by the way, the Pentagon ripped-off the Ukrainians by delivering used weapons from US stockpiles while charging the Ukraine aid the full price for the newer, upgraded equipment supplied to US forces. So the Ukraine aid actually upgraded a lot of US military equipment.
If you want to look for corruption, look in DC, which will not go away even if all aid to Ukraine stops. They don't even need to launder any money: they steal it from us in front of our faces in those 1,000 page continuing resolutions.
Ruusaphiles grab story with no sources or names and make it into a big deal - it other words, its propaganda designed to outrage Amerians and end American support, allowing their beloved Putin to have a successful invasion.

Hey, when you have as much blackmail info on the US President and family and have sent billions to aid in their “defense” it’s easy to siphon off a few million to build a mansion or two in your hidey-hole.
It's a very difficult cycle to break. It requires a President who can stand above it all and use the bully pulpit to force change. We haven't had that kind of leadership for a while. Hopefully Trump has learned his lesson.

“Satire Or Disinformation: Ukrainian Generals Lost Homes In LA Fires”
“The line between satire and disinformation continues to blur on social media, where the context of a post made in jest can be misunderstood to be a factual news report. When the source of the original “faux news” is a Russian Telegram channel, the line blurs even further.
That was the case this past weekend when social media claims were made that among the houses destroyed in the tragic Los Angeles fires were homes belonging to at least eight Ukrainian military general officers.
On Saturday, the Russian Telegram channel Military Observer first posted, “According to Ukrainian sources, 8 mansions owned by high-ranking Ukrainian military personnel were burned during large-scale wildfires in Los Angeles. The total value of these properties amounts to $90 million and was allegedly purchased with funds provided by the West as part of economic aid to Kyiv after the war began.”
Subsequent posts named Valerii Zaluzhnyi, former Ukrainian four-star general and current ambassador of Ukraine to the United Kingdom, as being among those who have lost their homes.
Satire, But Really Disinformation
The initial post on Telegram did indeed include the hashtag “сатира” (Russian for satire), but subsequent reposts lacked any mention that it was made in jest. That was true as the story began to circulate on Facebook and X. Yet, even as “satire,” it isn’t clear where the humor lies in the original post, except possibly to Russian audiences who might find joy that any Ukrainian would see their home burns down in the devastating California fires.”
A relative is the manager of a huge property in the Midwest. Says in the last 2 years they’ve got a lot of Ukrainian residents. The men speak decent English but the women do not.
