Dear diary, I’m totally going to jail today!
A Minnesota delivery driver was busted for auto theft because she wrote in her diary that she, “Totally stole a car today!” according to police.
Vanessa Guerra, 30, of Mankato, penned the brain-dead confessional on Aug. 12 — the same day a van was swiped and resold for parts nearby, according to a criminal complaint filed Nov. 22.
During the investigation, an officer allegedly found Guerra’s journal, which blabs about the vehicle heist in a tone fit for a ladies’ brunch.
“Totally stole a car today! Something I never thought of doing,” Guerra allegedly wrote in the entry, according to the Brown County Sheriff’s Office. “F-cking superfreaking out about it.”
Guerra, who recently worked as a DoorDash driver, allegedly sold the 2004 Ford Freestar van for $2,000 at a scrap at a salvage business in Blue Earth county, according to the Smoking Gun, which was first to report the bizarre bust.
Workers at the auto salvage business told cops they recognized Guerra as the person who sold them the stolen ride, according to police.
When contacted by the investigator, Guerra denied knowing that the vehicle was stolen, according to according to Mankato The Free Press.
Guerra was charged with receiving stolen property and theft. She has reportedly been convicted of driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance in the past.

Dear Diary: Totally going to jail!
Doesn’t the salvage company have to do a title check on the van?
You’re on a roll.
Well, I guess it’s understandable that car thieves take a moment to reflect on their accomplishments...
So do the police.
Dear Diary. Today I helped put a car thief in jail...
It’s all good.
“Do Not pass Go...Go directly to jail.”
That’s what i thought too. Around here if you’re selling copper, you need to wait a week to get paid.
Her last name is Spanish for “war.”
Maybe if she disassembled the car she could sell it piecemeal.
She wouldn’t get $2000 for it though.
We’ve been told that journaling is productive and important to our lives and the lives of our descendants. I guess you could say that, here...
Is that good or bad? Tough to tell these days.
She needed to video it and post to TikTok if she really wanted street cred.
Surprised this(and other crimes) haven’t become TikTok challenges among the drones.
Bet she’s wishing she’d written “almost” instead of “totally”.
Everything I have ever sold to the wrecking yard or scrap metal place required a title or it had to be cut into small pieces.
Whitey juju foiled another criminal mastermind.
Your typical Minesota Democrat
