Anger over 'wasteful, entitled' Hollywood stars including Kim Kardashian who broke water-saving rules to tend to their huge gardens - before fire hydrants ran dry as inferno struck LA

Fury against ‘wasteful, entitled’ celebrities grew last night as stars including Kim Kardashian, were accused of squandering vital water resources that could have been used to save homes.

Strict water-conserving measures have been in place since 2022, with ‘ordinary’ residents restricted to watering their gardens twice a week for eight minutes at a time.

Ms Kardashian, who lives in a $60 million house in The Oaks – an exclusive gated community near the epicentre of one of this week’s fires – was fined by city authorities that year for using 232,000 gallons of water more than her allocation.

Other celebrities including Sylvester Stallone and comedian Kevin Hart were also fined.

>>>>The hydrants didn’t run dry because of Kim Kardashian’s illegal Mexican landscaper sprinkling water on her azaleas.>>>

Yeah, I know that makes sense and you know that makes sense. But the far left whackos don’t have to make sense. All they have to do is demonize anyone that doesn’t fall in line with their enviroment religion.

This is going to be fun to watch because the woke rich liberals are about to get the wrath of the radical left land on them. Popcorn time.....

There was more than likely, enough water in every individual swimming pool to save each respective house that has a pool, AND a gasoline powered water pump with sufficiently sized hose and length to reach all parts of the house or property as desired. The cost would be about $2,000 - $3,000. An insignificant amount, compared to the cost of a multi million dollar home, or even for one costing $100,000 - $200,000.

Currently, rural construction builds MUST install fire water tanks to support responding fire departments, in the 5,000 gallon range.

In hindsight, this same principle, applied, in lieu of a swimming pool, would permit the municipal home owner to self arrest a home fire.

Whenever I’ve gone to California lately, the Bay Area specifically, I see mostly succulents in the gardens. They’re pretty impressive out there. I guess Kim K is better than everyone else.

Rules for thee, but not for me!

That was 2024, not 2014, although probably about the same back then.

It is measured in acre feet of the lake/reservoir.

Somewhere there is a “Let them eat cake” analogy but I couldn’t come up with it.

No matter.

Common folk with a bit of sense understands what the deal is.

Yes, yes, yes, Kim K. is gluttonous, we all know that. But one does not heap scorn upon the monkey that performs at the end of the organ grinder’s leash. As a performance monkey, Kim K. has amassed a giant pile of peanuts, shaking her grotesque artificial derrière to the delight of legions of peanut-tossing morons. Who can begrudge the profligacy of a thoughtless monkey when both the grinder and the public have emboldened the creature? It does what it is trained to do.

You’re exactly right. That’s about 650 gallons per day. For perspective that’s a 9 person hot tub/spa. For an estate, that’s a trivial amount in fairness. Might even be within the margin of error of the water meter. Lots of (D) run cities have water meter issues.

This is to show you that she and other celebrities don’t really have the Juice they think they because the are being Publicly Named.

Not to many years back they were all in an uproar over 1 person in BelAir using 100,000 gallons a Month on his property. They NEVER named Jerry Perenchio because he had the Juice and would of destroyed them, he simply said FU, send me the bill and he just paid it. Just up the street the number 2 water user I also know, he told them FU or give me a permit to drill a well, He has a well now for all his landscaping.

Well, there are several who responded that they are low water users. Interesting, because in our Central Texas city (living in a house), we are in the lowest water tier and below nearly 80% of city households in monthly water usage. Our base usage is 4,500 gallons a month (not counting landscape usage). Our main usage is laundry. With pets, laundry gets done a lot.
