You’re exactly right. That’s about 650 gallons per day. For perspective that’s a 9 person hot tub/spa. For an estate, that’s a trivial amount in fairness. Might even be within the margin of error of the water meter. Lots of (D) run cities have water meter issues.

Well, there are several who responded that they are low water users. Interesting, because in our Central Texas city (living in a house), we are in the lowest water tier and below nearly 80% of city households in monthly water usage. Our base usage is 4,500 gallons a month (not counting landscape usage). Our main usage is laundry. With pets, laundry gets done a lot.
