This is going to be great. The big leftist Hollywood/BBC type producers will no longer be able to gatekeep what films get made and which ones don’t.
Anyone will be able to make any film they want using text prompts. No need to pay a ridiculous sum of money to Hollywood stars, no need to pander to a script that promotes “The Message”. Any person will only be limited by their own creativity and talent, not resources or connections with the right scumbags.
I've been expecting that some of our next great "stars" will come from kids who learned AI character and movie creation during the COVID lockdowns. As far as entertainment goes, we tend to like certain actors, regardless of the role they are playing, but there's no reason that the next great "actor" can't be a digital creation with the appeal of a Brad Pitt...
