On first and goal at the one yard line, you take the snap from center and pound the ball forward as many times as needed. The LA staff called end runs starting from seven yards back. They can’t be that stupid, can they?

LA Charger's offensive coordinator Greg Roman IS that stupid. Who calls plays on 4th down where the receiver stops the route 3 yards short of the first down? I wish Harbaugh wasn't so loyal to him or he'd already be fired. I'd be happier if they took Kellen Moore back for OC.

I see that again and again from losing teams. I also see defenses sagging back 20-25 yards when their team is up by two points and about a minute remains. Additionally they don’t cover the sidelines when time is running out. The “prevent defense” only seems to prevent the leading team from remaining in the lead.
