LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- As the fire fight continues against the Eaton Fire and the Palisades Fire, new brush fires continue to crop up, the latest in the West Hills area.
Red flag warnings are in effect and will remain in place until 6 p.m. Friday for the Malibu coast, the Santa Monica Mountains Recreational Area, the San Gabriel Valley, the San Fernando Valley, Calabasas, the Santa Clarita Valley, the San Gabriel Mountains, and the 5 Freeway and 14 Freeway corridors.

I have read estimates ranging from $50 billion to over $150 Billion depending on the source. I don’t recall what Katrina was. The mainsteam media is of course worthless in assessing blame and where it should really lie because they are a part of it.

Is the West Hills fire you site the same as the Kenneth Fire? Or is a new one....I cannot find any new fires listed on “CalFire”...The Granada Hills (Archer) fire has been controlled at 19 acres according to LAFD alerts.
