Wind-fuelled wildfires have torn through the greater Los Angeles area, including neighbourhoods that are home to the Hollywood elite.
Parts of Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Mulholland Drive down to the famed Hollywood Boulevard had been placed in the mandatory evacuation zone. The fires have also affected the coming nominations announcement for the Academy Awards, which were supposed to be on January 17 but have now been pushed to January 19.
Many celebrities who live in the area have posted on social media about the state of their homes. Here are some who have shared updates about their homes.

“Sad for all people affected. Condolences to family and friends of all who have perished.”
Amen
The rich can strike back—they can hit harder than Middle or Lower class. No more Big doners for Newsom. Once hurt-—they will shift to a MAGA political leader with a lick of sense. Time for a new wave of Republicans to step up to the plate.

“If, as Rabbi on FoxNews says, “I’m a democrat, but I no longer will vote “D”; from now on i will vote “B”, for Business”, is the prevailing sentiment”
I have listened to the multiple Californians interviewed on FOX News. This seems to be their shared prevailing opinion as well.
We can only hope and pray.
“Why is it worse when it happens to the rich and famous”
It is not worse when affecting the “the rich and famous.”
From trailer to mansion, no one in. LA, & beyond?, have escaped. The interviews of all individuals: rich, poor, old, young are appearing on FOX News.
Frank Stallone was on Newsmax last night lambasting the idiots in Hollywood for voting for their own destruction and for not being smart enough to do the right thing to prevent such disasters in the future. It was refreshing hearing from a conservative Hollywood person for a change! His home was ok- but the fires were pretty close I guess.
I thought Frank moved to Miami with Sly.
ABC News’ Matt Gutman reports on Palisades Fire while standing outside his aunt’s destroyed home — shocking ‘The View’ panel
The saddest part is that biden has said that the gov will foot 100% of the bill, for those that can afford to pay for 20 more houses without blinking. Thr only reason he said this was because it was rich Hollywood elite- meanwhile 3500 families ,living in fema housing in NC (I assume they are flood victims) are getting the boot in th middle of winter
Agreed: who cares.
I saw Steve Guttenberg’s interview. I remember he said, “I am able-bodied. I can help others and encouraged others as well.” He also told peo0ple to not just abandon their cars on the only road from Palisades. He said, “Please leave your keys.” I learned later the road is lined with palm trees that were on fore falling on vehicles.

“Actor Steve Guttenberg is among the thousands of Los Angeles County residents who don’t know whether their homes have been destroyed by the deadly wildfires raging in Southern California.
But that hasn’t stopped the “Police Academy” and “Three Men and a Baby” star from doing what so many others are doing in the wake of tragedy: helping others. In an interview with Good Day New York, Guttenberg said when he got back to his home to check on things, he couldn’t get to his house without abandoning his vehicle.”

Compare Bidens quick and generous response to the fires to his response to the floods in the south. Night and day. No big D donors in TennesseeI guess.
