Wind-fuelled wildfires have torn through the greater Los Angeles area, including neighbourhoods that are home to the Hollywood elite.
Parts of Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Mulholland Drive down to the famed Hollywood Boulevard had been placed in the mandatory evacuation zone. The fires have also affected the coming nominations announcement for the Academy Awards, which were supposed to be on January 17 but have now been pushed to January 19.
Many celebrities who live in the area have posted on social media about the state of their homes. Here are some who have shared updates about their homes.

Who cares
Californias pay the highest taxes so that their government can abandon them in their time of need.
That's what I came to post.

Any of These ‘Burn outs’
Mad enough To retrieve Cali
From the crap hole it’s
Turned into ???
Sad for all people affected. Condolences to family and friends of all who have perished.
About half of them are dirtbags.
I’m sorry Mel lost his house. He also has a Church on his property. I wonder if that still stands.
Do those effected by this ongoing tragedy still support the LIB/Lefty loser politicians, causes and general insanity that caused this tragedy? Maybe if they left behind being woke, being a Greenie, DEI and so forth they would have a better life experience.
They all voted for Newsom and Kamala.
Who cares! Go back and sort your People magazine collection.
Since they live in make believe world and play pretend for a living, can’t they just pretend their homes are still there? Should be easy for them.
The only value in a who’s who of fire victims is in the relative political power they might have to get rid of progressive California politics. If, as Rabbi Whatshisname on FoxNews says, “I’m a democrat, but I no longer will vote “D”; from now on i will vote “B”, for Business”, is the prevailing sentiment, well and good. But if it’s business as usual as far as their votes go, then they’ve learned nothing from their suffering.
They will learn nothing.
They also have homes in other places, so who cares?
Why is it worse when it happens to the rich and famous who can afford to replace everything?
I agree with you.
It’s no more a tragedy that it happened to them than anyone else and is no more newsworthy.
