I saw Steve Guttenberg’s interview. I remember he said, “I am able-bodied. I can help others and encouraged others as well.” He also told peo0ple to not just abandon their cars on the only road from Palisades. He said, “Please leave your keys.” I learned later the road is lined with palm trees that were on fore falling on vehicles.

“Actor Steve Guttenberg is among the thousands of Los Angeles County residents who don’t know whether their homes have been destroyed by the deadly wildfires raging in Southern California.

But that hasn’t stopped the “Police Academy” and “Three Men and a Baby” star from doing what so many others are doing in the wake of tragedy: helping others. In an interview with Good Day New York, Guttenberg said when he got back to his home to check on things, he couldn’t get to his house without abandoning his vehicle.”

ThankS for that! Good man helping out like that. They talk about them90 mph winds, but even a slight breeze is enough to rapidly spread a fire especially when the place is so hot and dried out like Cali is. Just a 2 or 3 mph breeze is enough ot spread fire quickly with the sparks and all.
