Notre Dame is playing for a national title for the first time in 12 seasons.
Mitch Jeter made a 41-yard field goal with seven seconds left to give the Fighting Irish a 27-24 win over Penn State in the Orange Bowl on Thursday night. The Irish will play the winner of Friday's Cotton Bowl featuring Ohio State vs. Texas.
The CFP national title game will take place Jan. 20 in Atlanta.

He’ll get drafted as a backup. At some point he will start a few games and people will think he can be starter material. That’s the way it is with QB’s.

OSU will beat Texas like a rented mule, probably by three TDs. They’ll also have no problem beating ND for the championship.
I’ve seen some Italians and Greeks that have a darker shade than Coach Franklin LOL.

I would root for Satan against Notre Dame, so even I would root for Ohio State against them.
I doubt he will even be selected as a backup. Take the case of Ian Book.
He played college football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish where his .903 winning percentage (30-3) is second in school history to three-time national champ Johnny Lujack’s .932 in the 1940s. He was drafted by the Saints in the fourth round. He was a backup who played one game and then waived. Subsequently he was picked up and waived four times by three teams. Book was a superior quarterback compared to Leonard.
Leonard appears to be a superb leader and of high character. I wish him well, but in my opinion, he isn’t an NFL quarterback. This doesn’t mean he won’t be successful in the NFL. Tom Brady is the prime example of someone who was barely drafted and then became the GOAT.
As much as I hate OSU, logic forces me to agree with you.
Back when I was a big bettor, I made a ton of cash betting against ND and their over rated betting line.
Today, I am a nickle dime bettor, never more that a grand and only games that I believe are locks.
I'll wait for the line, but unless it's double digits, I'll bet OSU.
if Allar enters the draft he’s a fool. He missed on the easy screen pass that would’ve been a touchdown on their first drive then played anywhere from scared to cautiously.
If you remember the first drive of the second half PSU had a 3rd and 4 from about their own 37 yards line- and they chose to run the ball- not pass it!!!
And Penn State got a gift on one of their touchdown drives late, when the refs missed an obvious holding call.

The USC fight song is bottom 50 at best. Pretty awful actually. Whether you hate ND or UM doesn’t matter. Their songs are just better.
