LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- A Louisville mother is suing Jefferson County Public Schools and her son's former principal, Duan Wright, claiming he threatened to kill her then 7-year-old and another second grader in 2019 while pointing a gun at them.
Wright, who has a history of abuse complaints against him, was principal of Harstern Elementary School at the time. Some investigative documents say the gun was a toy, while Wright has denied the incident.

Beyond that no comment….
Yet another DEI ‘success’ story.
“Duan”?! Where do they come up with these names?
When you go to a black high school and the principal plays the Uno Reverse card.
This principal could be Obama’s son.
Or is that ‘toiletarian’ state?
Jefferson county schools are a mess by any metric available. The bus system is a nightmare. They’ve got kids getting bused all over the place and spending hours going to and from school. It has been suggested, I don’t know if it’s ever going to happen, that the district be split up into about 5 normal size districts. This wouldn’t make them any less leftist nor the administrators any more competent, but it would make districts of a size more manageable.
A few years ago it was published that upwards of 300 plus administrative positions had base salaries of well over $100,000 each, but some being a lot more. The school district is pissing away money at a prodigious rate. And the board looks like a meme of dei.
If a school official threatened my kid with a gun (fake or not), a lawsuit would be the least of his worries.
Are they not either the last or 1 of last 2 cities in the entire nation that uses forced busing?
Ha ha ha!!!!! You win!!!
Another urban area afflicted by the true pandemic.
Duan seems to lack impulse control.
I don’t know about any other school districts but Yep they’re still busing them and that’s part of the problem
“Duan seems to lack impulse control.”
I suspect that many of us have the same problem...which is about all we have in common with that DEI.

An expression of one’s own physical pain.
An expression in sympathy at another’s pain.
A thought. The first thing out of a heart reveals the content of a heart. No impulse control is not all bad, it depends on what comes out.
Gosh, first thing I thought was why did it take five years to bring a lawsuit? Maybe it took the kid that long to memorize the details for a deposition?
First day of junior high, my son got placed on the wrong bus. Called the school and talked to one of the assistant principals who basically said I was overreacting. Spoke to the principal the next day & told him next time I call the police & instead of working with his idiot asst principal.
Fast forward a year or two later and the asst principal was encouraged to find employment elsewhere. While at his new gig, he de-pantsed a young, female athlete getting on a bus to go to a sporting event. It made the news but not sure if he’s still teaching or not.
Did Duan scream “Allahu Akbar” or “Who’s your daddy?” as he held his gun over the tots?
It would take extraordinary evidence to make me believe that.
DUAN???? Need I LOOK?
