For a couple of years, I was a provisional director for a multinational corporation. No matter what the proposal was at the director’s meetings, the first question was, “what is our potential liability?” Governments, insurance companies and all sorts of non-governmental organizations were actively castrating children, and yet never apparently asked this question. Even if an organization was morally and ethically okay with castration, you’d think they’d take a back seat and let it play out for a couple of years to see how the courts dealt with the obvious cases that would result. Even if the intentions of the various parties were “good” you’d expect such dramatic changes to people’s lives would result in court cases. But no. Everyone dove in headfirst. Crazy. Absolutely crazy.

As a comparison, a company I formerly worked for came out with a policy that everyone had to have a Covid shot to stay employed. I was shocked as whoever made that decision was essentially acting in a medical capacity...playing doctor without a license. Two days later, the policy was changed, and the mandate vanished. I was told the company lawyer said, “You did what?!” And they got the CEO to back down by explaining what the potential liability was. We can argue about whether the shot worked or was political or whatever. But it was nothing like cutting the testicles off a 12-year-old.
