Speaker of the House Mike Johnson was elected Speaker of the House for the 119th Congress after two GOP holdouts decided to change their votes before the second round of voting was set to begin.
Reps. Ralph Norman (R-SC) and Keith Self (R-Texas) changed their votes after having initially voted for other candidates, leaving the Louisiana rep two votes short of clinching the speakership.

I think that energy is better spent on fighting for the bills that come out of the House. There was little chance the Speaker vote would go to anyone other than Johnson.
Trump is making a list and checking it twice, and whoever is on it better take my advice - and leave Congress!

Johnson is on notice now, MAGA or removal. There is no other choice.
With a Justice Department about to actually champion Justice combined with mass deportations the Rats may very well find themselves on the losing end of a Mid Term election that would otherwise have gone in their favor.
