From what I am seeing he was unsuccessful in getting the battery fire started.
According the Googles AI summary of an EV fire:
"An electric vehicle (EV) fire can reach temperatures of up to 5,000 degrees Fahrenheit (2,760 degrees Celsius), which is much hotter than a gasoline-powered car fire that typically burns at 1,500 degrees Fahrenheit (815 degrees Celsius).
EV fires are more difficult to extinguish than gas-powered car fires, and can require up to 10 times more water to put out.
EV fires are caused by thermal runaway, which is when a battery cell short circuits and releases flammable gases, such as hydrogen. The gases then produce more heat and flammable gases, which can heat nearby battery cells and create a self-sustaining fire.
The greater the charge on the car, the more violent and hotter the burn can be."
This common misconception stems from confusing primary (non-rechargeable) Lithium metal vs. secondary (rechargeable) Lithium-ion batteries. Metallic Lithium - which is used in the anode of Lithium metal batteries - reacts violently with water, air etc. But Li-ion batteries contain Lithium mostly in ionic (vs. metallic) form so there is no need to worry about such volatile reactions when using water to fight Li-ion battery fires. Water is know to be very effective method for extinguishing Li-ion battery fires, e.g. it is a recommended method by the US DOT and FAA - see below (where I have emphasized “water”).

Has anyone considered that the alleged Perp driving the Tesla Truck was already dead before the vehicle arrived in front of the Vegas Trump Tower?
After all he could have been dead well before his arrival and he was just the patsy of some other unknown group.
It doesn’t even look like that battery packs were compromised. I’ve seen on evidence of thermal runaway. The explosion deflected the blast upward, it didn’t even compromise the sides of the back of the truck. It was put out with a tarp.
Something stinks...a very amateurish attempt at a ‘bomb’, especially for a special forces dude.
I don’t believe any video has been shown of the vehicle driving up, only the ‘explosion video’. There has to be other cameras.
He was dead with a headshot wound before he got there.
An interesting speculation. The Tesla could have been programmed to go their. He could have been dead. Not impossible.
Should be able to tell from surveillance video at the scene, and from Tesla monitoring signals. They would know if the tesla was in an autodrive mode or not.
With fireworks?
My goodness, I hope we are training our SF Operators better than that.
And by now, fire departments are prepared to deal with EV fires. They would have the appropriate chemicals needed to put that out. They would not use water at all.
“He was a career Special Forces soldier...”
Anybody got a picture of him in uniform? I wanna see his tabs.
“ Burnt beyond recognition, but his ID/Passport/Military Id were only singed?”
—————————
People need to think this stuff through.
Where do you keep your ID? In your wallet. Where would his wallet be? Likely it would be in is back pocket.
Where was the fire? The fire would have come in through the rear window, burning his upper body.
How long would that fire have been burning to burn down to the seat, and through his body to his wallet? The fire was not under the truck. It was contained to the rear.
So it is likely that his ID would have been in pretty good shape.
In a worst case scenario, his passport and military ID would have been in a bag. So the fire would have had to burn through the bag a whatever was between the cards and the fire.
Finally, this fire did not last long. The fire department would have been there in minutes, and suppressing the fire shortly thereafter.
If you think this through, it is pretty easy to understand how this stuff survived the fire that burned the top half of his body to a crisp.
Former “ green beret” using gasoline & common firework to fabricated a over glorified firecracker Timothy Mcviech bob better than that.
Has anyone considered the possibility that Livelsberger was high as a MF’er on psychedelics, didn’t really know where he was & was trying to show his estranged wife a thing or two...
Because this was a suicide, not a terrorist act. He didn’t want to hurt other people.
You see how changing the words changes the scenario? This was probably a guy who was suffering from depression and had gone through a hurtful break up. He just wanted to “end it.” I don’t think he wanted to kill other people. I agree withj those who said he was sending a message to the Ex.
” young military members are highly susceptible to propagandized military indoctrination.”
This is what scares me when so many people say “OH the marines would never fire on American citizens if they were ordered to by the government” Wanna bet?
if he didn’t intend to kill other people he wouldn’t have done it on a public street in front of a hotel...
he would’ve done it in the wilderness...
How have you managed to avoid seeing them so far, they and his military service are all over the place.
As post 32 mentions, probably some personal message that we haven’t deciphered yet.
barry is a moooslam liar and a traitor to this country.
TO be honest I think he was dead when he got their.
He was in the valet Drive-In hardly a place to put an explosive to take down a hotel
At the very least If you’re on a suicide mission to take down a hotel...
Crash into the lobby glass front
And get your explosives as deep into the hotel as possible before they explode
Well, he did injure, and could have killed, other people. Columbine was a suicide, if you get right down to it.
He used Roman candles. You know…like 12 year old kids set off.
