Hiya kids! Hiya, Hiya!
Good Morning Crypto-FReepers.
I see some of the same old faces out there.
But that's OK - I like you anyway.
Here's today's quote!
It's a UPQ GPRH'I HPIFVOYMFUI quote, sort of!
I'm expecting lots of UPQ GPRH'I clues!
Have fun!!!
Ha Ha Ha!
I'll be good - I will, (like heck) I will!
Ha ha ha.

Where'd I put my magic twanger? Oh, here it is - - -boinng!
You can find this fun quotation puzzle, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers,
in several daily publications. I challenge us with the best ones out there.
The way it works is a letter stands for another letter.
For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today’s cryptogram). Beware, the game is very addictive.
If this is your first time, don’t be intimidated, you’ll be solving them all within a few days.
If you’re stumped, take a break and return to it.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply,
or if you need a hint for today’s Cryptogram ASK THE GROUP FOR HELP!
I suggest printing these out and work them on paper.
If you need a little help you can copy and paste it to Hal’s Helper below.
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper, but I recommend that you do NOT look at the letter counter.

One last request. Feel free to post a fun or clever clue, the more tangential to the quotation the better, but please don’t put the actual words of the quote in the clue.
My wish for you as well. Thanks!
Aha! So you admit, your UPQ GPRH’I HPIFVOYMFUI don’t last long.
Neither do mine.
Ha. Ha. Ha!

I haven’t touched a cigarette in since 1981.
My wife and I were watching the Twilight Zone Marathon over New Year's.
I counted SIX straight episodes where somebody was smoking a cigarette.
Most of the TV shows back then PROMOTED SMOKING!
Movies too.
No wonder we were all addicted.
I quit back in 2004. Hardest thing I've ever done.
Congratulations to both of us!
I was like Mark Twain. I could quit anytime I want. I had done it several times. I joined a basketball league. That decided the issue. I also met my wife around then. She had ashtrays and even possibly some cigarettes in her apartment. We both ditched them. I do not miss them at all. Recall that as late as 1995, most public buildings had ashtrays in them.
Now that’s funny.
It took 30 seconds. Easy peasy.
Thanks.
