More female officers in disgraced top cop Jeffrey Maddrey’s orbit pulled down massive overtime and other perks, The Post has learned.
The driver for the former chief of department made an eye-popping $163,414 in OT last year — and resigned days after The Post exposed her boss’s alleged sleazy conduct at police headquarters, records show.
Detective Ingrid Sanders was the seventh-highest overtime earner in the department, boosting her total salary last fiscal year to $352,462, records show.
That put her pay not far behind Lt. Quathisha Epps, the top earner who made $403,515, including $204,453 in OT. Epps filed an explosive Equal Employment Opportunity Commission complaint accusing Maddrey of giving Epps overtime shifts in exchange for sex, The Post revealed in a front-page exclusive Sunday.
On the day of the Post’s inquiry, Maddrey quit. Sanders was immediately transferred from One Police Plaza to a Queens precinct, and filed for retirement on Dec. 23, The Post found in police documents.
Sanders is a first-grade detective — the top grade — who served in the chief of department’s office since December 2022. She followed Maddrey there from the Patrol Services Bureau. She didn’t return multiple messages.
Maddrey also sought favors for second detective, Ada Reyes, The Post has learned.
Epps, Maddrey’s personnel manager, told The Post that part of her OT was devoted to taking care of Reyes.
“The overtime that he would give me he would tell me to buy her things like get her some towels and things from Walmart, a microwave, and stuff like that so she doesn’t have to come out of her pocket,” Epps said. “I make the overtime and then I give things to her.

We are being robbed at gun point by very corrupt people in government at ALL levels.
OT in public service should be outlawed. There is enough waste in the allocation of personnel and their time to more than cover any supposed “need” for OT.
Maybe some hookers got jobs with NYPD and knew how to make it pay.
This is a common retirement scam among NY State workers, particularly NYPD and State Police
Overtime counts towards one's "Final Average Earnings" - so 3 years of crazy (and fake) overtime numbers equalling $350K will guarantee a life-long yearly retirement benefit of $235K, paid by the taxpayers.
So female cops prostituting themselves to supervisors for overtime gives a really big payoff.
They've been saying that for 50 years yet the keep choking off the tax payers for more and more money. Those in government are not interested.
And if you keep bringing this up you'll likely be subjected to tax audits.

There’s a photo of Quathisha in the article. She is attending a Police Department event and is wearing a pricey-looking gown with a neckline almost down to her navel. Not very professional, unless your profession is being a hooker.

A likely story to gull the taxpayers.
Yup- my dad was NYPD for 23 years, from 1966 to 1989 when cops got paid squat, and it was always overtime to boost the pension.
The other big scam with city workers is disability. Ingrown toenail?? Go on disability and receive three-quarters pay for 20 years.
I know an former NYPD officer who was on disability and owned a gym. The guy looked like Arnold Scharznegger and the NYPD was always wondering how a guy on disability could be lifting weights night and day and looking so buff. They did nothing about it.
I really hope NYChitty and NY state go bankrupt- that will solve a lot of problems.

A friend of mine joined NYPD in the late 60’s and after the academy, his 1st duty was to go to certain corners and collect envelopes of cash from prostitutes, pimps, whatever. He quickly quit and moved to California and joined LAPD.
