If Elon Musk is correct about the U.S. having a Labor Shortage, then how does he explain this? "Most studies indicate that 75-85% of adults with Asperger Syndrome do not hold a full-time job."

Let’s attack Elon Musk, because just having the Left, the Democrats and their Gaslight Media attacking him isn’t enough.

Weird argument. Is the author trying to imply all people with Aspergers are good high-tech workers?

There might be some correlation.

Very weird argument. It seems more of an argument to work to bring Aspergers into the workforce.

I don’t have a problem with Musk’s and Ramaswamy’s position that importing the best people in the world, if they are truly the best available, is good for the US.

The problem I have is the manipulation of the education system to downgrade the skills of Americans so they can never be the best and have fair chance at these jobs as well.

Yeah because all those 70k H1b engineer positions that came in to work for Musk couldn’t have possibly been filled by Americans. We are too lazy ,retarded ,and racist.

I would like to know if he used Cognizant. A court found they discriminated

That’s only part of the equation. The salary is another. Those foreign workers are working for far less than you’d think. They get around that by pooling their money on houses and businesses. There is a house down the street from me where three brothers, their wives and kids and the parents all live under the same roof. The house would sell for at least $650,000 right now.

It is an X post, labeled as Twitter. Thus, it should be believed without question.

I know from the experience of a very close friend that American workers in the tech fields are looking for jobs, while we are importing Indian coders and software engineers. The company she works for is mandated by a tax abatement agreement with our state to hire a certain number of local college grads. They do, then they put them in dead-end jobs and treat them like crap until they quit. Then they replace them with HB1s. If they don’t quit, they are passed over for promotions and raises as their Indian counterparts move up the ladder.

It isn’t attacking Elon and Vic to tell the truth. There are Americans out there looking for careers in the tech fields that are being passed over. Let’s get those people working. Then if we need more help bring in the best and brightest but make them start at the bottom and earn their way up.

It isn’t a labor shortage when companies fire Americans so they can hire H1B Indians.

WTF? First off how many people have Asperger’s? Not many, I’m guessing, and then given the unemployed percentage, the resulting impact would be negligent. How many young people with college degrees are unemployed, sitting at home, playing video games? Probably a lot more.

The fact that there is an H-1B visa takes the fun out of being an American.

In 1970, I was told by an interviewer "I'd hire you in an instant if you were a black woman."

In 1990, I was told by a hiring manager that he "wasn't hiring old white fat guys."

In 2005, I was told by a recruiter that "the company wasn't relocating people at the particular level of job."

In 2013, I was told by my boss that he "couldn't build the company he wanted if I was working in the office full time, so you can do your job from home."

In 2023, I was told by my contractor contact that "employees must have a heritage bound to India, so when the contract is done, out you go."

In 2024, company after company told me that I "was not a good fit for the job being filled" in their rejection letters.

Less formally, I've been told by my network that being a white male American citizen is a major down-check, regardless of merit.

Several professional organizations reject me because of my political views, that of being a strict Constitutionalist.

Too bad the IRS isn't as dismissive of me as the gatekeepers of jobs are.

Of course we must look a little deeper and see what kind of job candidates are coming out of college.

When I was consulting we had some real losers like you wouldn’t believe and that was 15 years ago. Some really good ones, but some wanted to do anything but work long hours or get out of their little comfort zones.
