Gen Z cashiers in shops and restaurants infuriate their bosses when handling cash

Gen Z cashiers are infuriating their bosses when they take cash from customers.

According to reports young workers are deeming some bills counterfeit when they are in fact legitimate.

According to one boss of a frozen yogurt shop in Florida, teenage employees had to be told that the bills they had refused to accept because they were fake, were actually 'just old.'

Sam, 22, told Newsweek that the £10 and £5 notes that were confiscated at the store were 'pre-1999 as far as dating goes, so at least 25-30 years old.

'The $5 is even older, maybe from the 60s' the assistant manager explained.

Sam acknowledged that some of the confiscated bills were older than the employees themselves and that as a generation they are probably unused to handling cash.

'It's a digital world nowadays,' he told the publication.

Soda machines take credit/debit cards. No need for cash.

If your dad wants to have even more fun with $2 bills, have him get a bunch of brand-new bills with consecutive serial numbers from the bank and make a money pad with them. All he needs to do is to put the bills on a piece of thin cardboard the same size, then apply rubber cement and surgical gauze to one end of the bills, folding it under the base for about a quarter of an inch. Then when he buys something, he can whip out the money pad and peel off the bills.

“I didn’t misquote anything.
You’re still being pedantic for the sake of being pedantic.”

I have quoted several times how you have missed quoted the law.

Your only argument is to make personal attacks ignoring the facts.

I haven’t attacked you. Calling you pedantic, when you’re being pedantic is just a fact. Nobody else here is calling me out on what they see as an error. Only you and you just cannot stretch your intellect to be flexible in what I said.

I disagree with you. I have not misquoted the law. I even included a MSM article which said that you didn’t have to abide by the law on accepting cash, if you had a pre-paid card system set up. That means, under the law, I could set up a pre-card, where the card is only good at my business, forcing you to spend the entire card at my business or you’d have a worthless card no matter what you have on it,.

I am not mistaken. But go ahead and continue to be pedantic. I wouldn’t want you to be any other way than who are. God made you to be intellectually inflexible, so it’s ok.

‘”I haven’t attacked you. Calling you pedantic, when you’re being pedantic is just a fact.”

It is not a fact. It is your tactic rather than addressing the facts.

Right from the mouth of a cashier. Best you stay in Canada where the socialist government takes care of you.

The silver content of Kennedy half dollars is as follows:
1964 Kennedy half dollars: 90% silver and 10% copper.
1965 through 1970 Kennedy half dollars: 40% silver and 60% copper
_________

Did you get many 1964s? Though the 1965 through 1970 Kennedy half dollars have enough silver, to make them worthwhile for you, to scoop up that free silver.
Score!

I don’t rely on my government. I’m probably more independent of my government than you are of yours.

You’re pedantic, which is a sign of inflexible thinking. You couldn’t stretch yourself intellectually to include variants on my statement of how prepaid cards.

Looking in the book, I don’t see a ‘64 Philly. There were probably some Denver duplicates. And quite a few ‘65-69s. The silver ‘70 was only in mint sets. Didn't see any of them. The highlight was definitely the Franklin. And, I filled a lot of holes in the copper/ nickel clad coin collection.

Just an anecdotal aside on the Biden economy....I have yet to see a nickel or dime from 2024. Usually, I see them by April.

I used the Susan B Anthony coin to pull a trick on the Delaware Turnpike toll collector. I pulled up, handed the SBA to her and took off real fast. I could here her yell HEY!!! I knew she was going to think it was a quarter.
