Alec Baldwin‘s manslaughter case is finally over.
On Monday, special prosecutor Kari Morrissey announced she has withdrawn her appeal of a judge’s order dismissing the case.
The decision came after the state attorney general’s office said that it “did not intend to exhaustively pursue the appeal on behalf of the prosecution,” the prosecutor said.
In a separate statement Monday night, the attorney general’s office said that it “declined to appeal” the case “in light of the significant procedural irregularities” identified by the judge.

That attorney generals office is a train wreck dumpster fire rolled up in a clusterf*ck. SMH
I wonder how much MONEY Alex had to pay
Two (or more) tiers of justice...
No problem oh liberal lord and master.
Try to get an intruder out of your house?
Jail for you peasant!
I have heard they plan to resume production of the movie.
Well, he still faces a civil trial so that’s something I guess. 🤷
Does this mean that the movie “Rust” may now be released?
Asking for a friend.
In his list of skills and talents for acting roles he used to list expert gun handling, I wonder if that is still part of his resume?
I hope no body slipped and and got hurt.
I heard that as well.....woukd be the height of insensitivity but given we’re talking about the king of assholes it wouldn’t surprise me in the least.
yep.
He won’t be able to walk in public without someone yelling ‘murderer!’
Small consolation, but he’s going to be miserable. And probably end up in jail for popping off at someone…
This is a warm up for freeing Luigi.
Quentin Tarantino had a good interview on responsibility on a movie set. Said 90% is the armorer and 10% the actor. He talked about how dangerous blanks are so if an actor is expected to shoot three times in a scene, the gun is loaded with three blanks. If only two are shot, it is the actors responsibility to make the director, armorer etc. to draw attention that only two fired.
If: Cluleless lib
Then: Innocent
Always has worked.
Always will.
Double standards, ya know.
FAR too kind! Nothing but Dimocraps from top to bottom.
Gloria Allred is representing relatives of the woman who was killed...In a civil suit...
She is not representing the husband of the woman...He already sued and got a settlement from Baldwin...
Like OJ, this frees up Alec to find the real killer….🙄
It’s possible that Baldwin was mischarged by the prosecutor, which makes this a case of incompetence by the prosecutor.
The problem is that it was Baldwin’s job, being the head producer as well as actor, to ensure that everybody was doing their jobs. If he was just a hired actor, it was probably the right call to give him minority responsibility. However, being the head producer, it was job to go to the armourer with his checklist and checkoff that the armourer had disarmed the weapons and reloaded them with blanks.
Hopefully, Baldwin won’t be as fortunate in the lawsuit that has been given him.
