Well gee.
What most excellent fortune to FIND a handgun on one's property the very same day that one is about to be robbed.
Sounds plausible though, and most fortunate that he was able to use it to good effect.

According to officials, the wounded alleged robber was later arrested, treated and then released. Gomez, meanwhile, was in court Wednesday facing charges of criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of ammunition. Punish the monkey, let the organ grinder go.

He “found” the gun?
He should have lost it before the cops arrived.
Follow the SSSU rule.

Would someone please explain that to me. In NYC is it illegal to possess a gun and ammo in your own store?

The men all look like gangsters. The wives have big hair and look like the mob wives. What is this outfit?

In other news, Michael Corleone, son of reputed mob boss Vito Corleone, was gunned down in the same bodega shortly after meeting with an unknown assailant, according to witness Officer McCloskey.

Some people in the US just can’t understand that the roles of citizens and perps has reversed. You can no longer interfere with a criminal who is just trying to make a dishonest living.
To: grundle
“We don’t understand the system,” Mateo said. “The system is failing all New Yorkers, all of us. The fact that those robbers are free while Jhony is being prosecuted is an injustice that no New Yorker should tolerate.” MAGA people don't 'understand the system' where honest people are punished and criminals go free either. Send these good people some MAGA hats... and sign 'em up.

Should have said he took the gun off one of the robbers that was getting ready to shoot him with it.
To: joshua c
Ah, so NYC did not arrest this guy for having a gun. He was arrested for having an unregistered gun.
The 1A guarantees freedom of the press. So it would be unconstitutional to limit that freedom by requiring typewriters and word processors to be registered. The 2A guarantees the right to bear arms. Yet guns must be registered.
I wonder if even one liberal sees how illogical that is.

Why do people live in that horrible city? I’ve only been to NYC once. And it was more than enough. Los Angeles, a shythole if there ever was one, is a paradise compared to that suckhole.
