I keep getting emails with Nextdoor info. It looks like Twitter pretty much and it has my neighborhood correct but I wondered if there were any problems with it or if it might be handy to use.
A dog on a 20 foot reel/lead isn’t on a leash/restraint at all.
Pi$$ off.
It can be useful when your dog is lost and you connect with the neighbors who found him.
But then there are the people who use it to beg for money with a sob story that goes way beyond believable to obvious scam. One woman even included a link to her family’s looooong Amazon wish lists. Seriously. I mostly steer clear of the political discussions, and I can tell you the local “vote for the school tax levy” fanatic has never been banned.
Yep, left wingers. I got banned.
I used it when my dog got out and someone on Nextdoor found him.
exactly, complete cringe
The site operators are consistently hostile to conservatives of any flavor, as are most of the active posters. If you post anything that contradicts the Progressive narrative-of-the month, you will get suspended or banned. There is some risk that your house will be vandalized if you offend the wrong posters. Not worth participating in that forum.
I never post there, but I do follow the crime and accident stories, especially when they are in nearby areas.
I keep getting invites to join neighborhoods which are in fact located several states away from me. So far, I have had the good grace to ignore those invitations.
Cancelled mine 2-3 weeks ago. Where I live it became mostly people begging for money.
Not sure what it is you’re doing/not doing but I unsubscribed a couple weeks ago & all my notifications have stopped.
I don’t know why it doesn’t work unless by design.
I go to their “unsubscribe” option and “unsubscribe” every time.
Nothing changes.
Continue to receive text messages with unusable links.
It’s a proverbial tar baby.
If you want to have some fun ask folks what they think about a neighborhood party to celebrate the inauguration of President Trump next month.
Lol.
“If you want to have some fun ask folks what they think about a neighborhood party to celebrate the inauguration of President Trump next month.”
If you do that where I live the folks will accept the invitation and have fun celebrating with you. Oklahoma.
Any conservative thought detected on NextDoor results in quick removal by coordinated complaint.
It’s where all the Karens went.
They took it over, much like what happens when the purple haired alphabet agenda crew takes over a company’s HR.
