I listened to Ruhle paraphrase their discussion and didn’t get the impression that PDJT actually said that. What he did say may have meant the same thing....

In short, they’ve got nothing useful and the final repudiation of this election showed their paymasters that their work didn’t ‘work.’ No useful product, no new inputs. They aren’t the news rock stars they think they are.
Americans’ interest in ‘news’ from legacy media finally turned the page. We don’t really get our news from them like we used to. Many get their fill from the vast array of podcast and news shorts online, bypassing them and elevating other, more truthful and balanced purveyors.
Maddow got her haircut and Reid/Ruhle and others will get theirs or they’re out. MSNBC certainly won’t be offering any contract increases. It would be very comical to see them try and make it in the podcast world without massive support of MSNBC in production.
