I’m glad Barron is being accepted at his new school, but on a side note, I’ve never liked that term ‘matriculated’.
It sounds artificial and affected.
The only time it’s used in American English would be with schools, but it’s a rather outdated term.
Why not just say ‘he has enrolled’?
