This lady tries her best to zoom her camera onto a very weird point of light in the sky. Weird stuff. She did a better job than our government at using a camera phone.
The video wasn’t taken near sunset...
Thanks man.
Looks like lens flare combined with digital distortion. It is probably Venus.
“I have no idea what that is, but I assure you that is no planet being viewed through any kind of earthly atmospheric distortion.”
I think the atmospheric distortion was due to swamp gas.
To those of you who still think a burning bush and a woman turning to salt only happened in the Bible. Real miracles for those ages. Right? Jesus is coming and GOD needs new miracles WE CAN’T EXPLAIN. A distant planet? It was not. An angel perhaps? I believe HE will come with things we cannot explain away. Yet there will be those naysayers to try to turn us away. I saw something one night I couldn’t explain, kind of like this. I believe these are the new signs. Don’t ignore them.
Cell phone cameras do strange things when highly zoomed, as they struggle to focus (because the subject is too far away). And as you said, atmospheric distortion also comes into play.
That was no cell phone. That was a high en camera with a zoom lense. You can hear the mechanism every time she adjusts it.
Your comment implies that a phone camera is the most likely tool to capture such phenomena.
While I wish that were the case...I would offer that the unusual facts and strange idiosyncrasies of the universe are probably most likely captured in a math equation on a chalk board or observed in a quantum microscope.
In late afternoon here, you can see both Jupiter and Venus in the sky before any other stars or planets. It is my opinion that people are looking at the sky closely for the first time in a long time and seeing things that are amazing. There was a power outage in Los Angeles in 1994 and people called 911 about the lights and gases that were stretched out overhead. It turns out, it was the Milky Way.
No. Thank you, H.
I appreciate that she captured it. I like an army of citizen journalists giving me information. I’ll judge by myself. Is it a planet? probably.
Watching a show one night about people seeing and taking pics and videos of "UFOs". A young dad in California insisted he had a video of a UFO. The video showed a fairly bright light (no blinking navigation lights) moving steadily across the sky.
The experts went back and took the time stamp on his video and compared it to the path of the ISS at the same time. They matched. The conclusion was that he had a video of the ISS. He refused to accept that and continued to insist it was an alien craft.
UFOs are the classic signal to noise problem.
It is a bit like a radio dial in the rural areas.
99% of the frequencies are static.
I am convinced there is some signal there but good luck finding it.
Well, never let it be said that I was the one that stood in the way of someone believing what they want to believe I suppose, but I do know that almost all people are hard to dissuade once convinced of something regardless of the strength of the evidence.
Such a cool video! Jesus loves me too!
Here’s another thing. In spite of the repeated explanation, some people still think when they are seeing a Starlink train that it is supernatural. Every time one flies over people go crazy on social media.
The wife told me last night that yesterday we had some JW come to the door for the first time (brave souls; rural), recruiting for their cause ($$ & souls).
My response was,
“Did you talk to them through the porch cam and tell them you were God?”
hey, don’t laugh, the first time I saw a star link train. I thought it was a bunch of government drones flying around. That is when they just started and no one had really said anything about them. They are an odd thing to look at.
I agree. Very strange looking. The first time we saw it, I had to do some searching around on the internet to know what we saw.
