This lady tries her best to zoom her camera onto a very weird point of light in the sky. Weird stuff. She did a better job than our government at using a camera phone.
The app doesn’t give much info.......
It’s the year 2024 and basically everyone on earth has a camera phone in their pocket now- I’m surprised we have no interesting photos of any otherworldly phenomena. It makes you think the universe is a bit dull.
That is a closeup of a planet. The swirling appearance is atmospheric distortion from convection pockets.
strange that it only became distorted when she spoke to it.
Since you brought it up, a couple of years ago I heard a noise in the night sky. And I took this picture.
It frightened me so much that I don’t go out after dark anymore.
It’s like a giant empty mall. There may be some cool stuff going on somewhere but it’s too far to care. Mostly empty shops and the occasional security guard.
Bizarre.
“Uhny Uftz”
yes, the universe is so vast I’m sure there is a planet somewhere with a mountain range that looks like Liberace statistically. It’s a shame we can’t get out there and explore. When I was a kid, space exploration was exciting and something we took for granted. We could have condos on Neptune by now if we didn’t have all the problems we have to deal with now that we didn’t have before. It’s like a giant stone around our necks.
We could have Klingons on Uranus!
Sorry...
The orb said “I am Mork from Orb.”
Venus. It is currently at perigee at aproximately 25 million miles.
With the advance in technology, we continue to discover unsuspected dimensions of the aliens among us.
They are vampires. That is why they can’t be photographed.
I couldn’t tell if you were being facetious, but no matter how much you zoom in on a planet with a phone, and I have tried, it doesn’t look like that.
I don’t know what these are, or even if that is one of them, but as someone who has spent a great deal of time looking at objects of all manner in the sky from planets to airplanes, through devices ranging from telescopes to my naked eyes, what is in that video is unusual.
I have no idea what that is, but I assure you that is no planet being viewed through any kind of earthly atmospheric distortion.
Anyone looking at the sky near sunset the past couple of weeks might have noticed two particularly bright objects. One is Jupiter (in the east), the other is Saturn, in the west. Assuming this video was taken near sunset, I’d bet that if she looked at that “orb” with a decent telescope, she would see Saturn and its rings.
For decades, people claimed to see UFO’s, Sasquatch, Yeti, etc. Once everyone had a camera in their pocket all the time, you would expect someone, somewhere, to get a decent picture or video of one of these things. And yet, to this day, I have not seen a single decent, convincing photo or video of anything. And that is because none of them do, or ever have, existed.
People, generally, are not very bright.
Miracle of the Sun not quite cuttin’ it for you, S9?
huh...you mean that french water?
Don’t be sorry.
It’s necessary for a thriving memeopsphere.
