He enjoys trying different foods from different countries - but a clear favourite is the UK. The content creator often travels to try some of our nation's favourite treats.

He has tried Toby Carvery and Greggs, as well as drank Yorkshire Tea, tucked into some fish and chips, a Costa Coffee toastie, and recently he tried our version of a christmas-dinner>Christmas dinner.

For his Full English breakfast taste test he tried a traditional café in Swindon, Blues Cafe in Havelock Street. The eatery, which has now gone viral thanks to Kalani, has had praise for its "nice and quick" service and "fabulous breakfast" on Trip Advisor. Kalani went viral and raked in over 93,000 likes after sharing his verdict

At least there is no Vegemite.

During one of my visits Down Under I had the urge to try Vegemite. I bought a jar, opened it up and it looked like the stuff you'd scrape off the bottom of your car's oil pan. And it tasted just as bad as it looked. I love Australia, but I'll pass on the Vegemite.

,,, I dropped coffee and power drinks earlier this year from intake because of the caffeine and my changed state of health. The number of options for tea are amazing.

Where I am its summer now. I grab Lipton's bottled tea from the supermarket and keep a stash in the fridge. Last time I was in Switzerland I noticed the iced tea thing in their summer but wasn't into tea then. The switch from coffee to tea was instant for me and a lot easier than I thought it would be.

If you ever tasted British food or seen British women….you’ll know why they built a navy and sailed away

,,, superb! I hope there's no copyright on that line. I'm going to recycle it.

“A street taco in Cabo is better than most of the fake stuff we get here.”

Interesting. So you’re saying every Mexican restaurant that has been springing up in every little town in Kansas and Nebraska, owned by Mexicans and totally staffed by Mexicans are serving fake Mexican food.

Eggs had to be sunny side up, for dipping.

Thanks for sharing that.

I drink unsweetened iced green tea all year. It’s very healthy and has many benefits. I had to acquire a taste for it and now love it. I drink only one or two cups of black coffee.

I think Lipton has bottled green tea. I prefer the fresh brewed.

We have an English pub named Clancy’s Pub in my town and they serve some good English/Irish food.

,,, years ago I took a Saturday flight from Auckland to Tokyo. The purser on that flight turned out to be the son of the local cop in the suburb I was raised in. We were glad to see each other. He said “get to your seat and I’ll catch up with you during the flight.” He gave me playing cards, pens and all sorts of things from first class. Then he said “have you tried green tea?” This is where I first learned the shock of the new in hot drinks. It was repulsive, like hot cat’s p!$$. He insisted I stay with it and I did. Since then I’ve been offered it occasionally and I’ve enjoyed it. I’d rank miso above it though.

I’m smiling at that experience. You toughed it out! Good for you. Yes, Miso is the best.

You have flown a lot. Do you have a business that takes you to different countries or do you just like to travel...if I may ask.

,,, I had an importing business many years ago - sourced eel skin products ex Korea but never went there. Second stage of that was Taiwan and I did go there on a commercial visa, otherwise its all been travel for a change of wallpaper. If you live at the extreme ends of the planet you have to pass through places to get to far away destinations. My deal is to try a different stop each time. I find round the world fares give great value and using carrier alliances extends really good flexibility and lots of destinations.

In the US I was really surprised how good Kansas City was. Been to Chicago twice and want to get there again. New York was great and Kentucky was a paradise.

That’s impressive. You have learned how to do the travel bit very well and to your benefit and enjoyment.

As some still say out here in the west: Happy Trails to you.

Jellied eels? Iirc, they used to be a big thing one, two generations ago, especially among the poor in London, since there were eels aplenty in the river Thames. Fishermen caught them by the ton in those days.

Today, they are much less eaten than in former times, when huge amounts of jellied eels were sold in cookshops all over London. Still, some, mostly elderly, British people have jellied eels from time to time, as a comfort food reminding them of their youth🙂
