Benadryl is NOT the same as Elavil. Elavil is amitriptyline. Benadryl is diphenhydramine. Totally different drugs. Who edits these, articles?

Elavil is in the type of drugs listed in the article.

For those that have had your DNA tested and take drugs in that class you might to see if you have a p450 problem. Drugs listed are problematic for me . Might make me more susceptible .

Obviously not anyone familiar with basic pharmacy names and products-— an antihistamine on one hand and an antidepressant used in a sentence to wrongly associate them as the same drug! Lunatics who know nothing in the first place.

My guess is that someone’s notes went from “diphenhydramine, found in Benadryl, and Elavil” to “diphenhydramine, found in Benadryl and Elavil.”
