The truth might be closer than you think.

How come there is not 1 video of whatever these are/this is!
Just far away lights and no infrared images nor close ups!
What are we? In the age of flying kitchen saucers 1950?

DC pipe bombs on steroids, Deep State Doings.
I fear that this is the plausible deniability phase of the 2024 election interference already planned.
A large enough explosion on January 20, maybe and probably nuclear.
The ones complacent will conveniently not be present in DC that day.
They will have been tipped off and will declare a boycott status early on.
Wiping out our representation will be severe and it will allow those left to swoop in and try to rule us as a state of emergency.
I hope this does not occur.
As a precaution,
Attendance needs to be mandatory for all federal elected and appointed officials on January 20,2025. Period no exceptions go get them
If necessary safety in numbers against an intrenched enemy.

Just wait, the government is going to use this drone flap for a huge power grab. A little more police state for the peasants.

Bored deer hunters put a hole thru my Cherokee Six 300, way back in the mid 90’s. Passenger side flap. I only knew after we landed and climbed out the Cherokee door out onto the wing root. Got a replacement from Wentworth Salvage for $200. The rigging had to be signed off for recertification after I had the local FBO fix it. A real pain in the butt. I should just have used some JB Weld, some sanding, and a can of spray paint.

"How come there is not 1 video of whatever these are/this is!"

Because there are no "mystery drones". There is a deluge of inaccurate drone sightings.

People are mistakenly, and others deliberately, mislabeling airplanes as drones and UFOs. You can drive traffic to your webpage and make money from youtube clickbait by making sensation claims.

Hype and hoaxes.

"government is going to use this drone flap for a huge power grab. A little more police state for the peasants."

Yep. And we "demanded" it!

No matter the problem, asking for government solutions only makes your problems worse, yet folks fail to understand. I would be safe to say, there is no problem government "solves" without expanding its authority, growing its revenue collections, and stripping the public of their liberties, so stop looking to government to be your savior. There is no problem they won't make worse. They do that on purpose.

1) Dirty bomb hidden on East Coast.
2) Bomb explodes, killing thousands of Americans.
3) Biden rises from his long winter’s nap to declare state of emergency.
4) Inauguration postponed.

Crazy, you say? I think not.

As has been discussed here repeatedly an inauguration can take place with a formal swearing in ceremony with just a couple of witnesses—no public spectacle required.

Even in the event of full scale nuclear war there would be no basis for delaying an inauguration.

You had one job: Protect America and Americans.

If the air over America is full of flying objects that you cannot identify then we are under attack.

It is incredible the hoops that you sometimes have to jump through for a minor repair especially if the mechanic is running a little short during the holidays.

One of the tips on our Cherokee's stabilator had a little hangar rash and we were given a ration of crap about that. The mechanic argued that we needed to purchase a new matched set, or we could end up with some sort of imbalance that could make the plane unsafe to fly. Fortunately, we were not very far into the owner assisted annual and were able to pay him for his time which he wanted an exorbitant amount for and turn him loose. It is a totally different situation if you have left the plane at an FBO.

A King Air 90 had the bad luck of a bird strike enroute to our airport. Replacing the windshield section on the pilots side sent the owner of the FBO’s kid to at least two years of college. (Always get a ferry permit) The FAA will issue a ferry permit to get you home almost always. It comes with restrictions and operating limitations, but it is well worth it.

“Aliens” are really demons!

And the drones over NJ may well be a government-produced psyop!

during Trump’s morning presser at mar-a-lago, he categorically stated the military knows EXACTLY what’s going on with these drones, where they’re coming from, where they’re going, and what they’re doing and that they should publicly fess up and quit gaslighting the public ...

when asked if he had received a briefing on the matter, he said “no comment”, which of course means he HAD received a briefing and which is why he could definitely state what he did ...

That is why even if we could afford a powerful complex airplane, we probably would not go that direction. Even a cheap twin is going to cost a lot more to keep up.

A little off topic but I like nearly every other kid in my age group started off with kites, gliders, model planes with rubber band power. Then we moved up to combustion engine powered planes with control lines.

When I was a kid, premade plastic models were already the rage. My first plastic “trainer” went straight over my head and busted into a bunch of unrecognizable pieces when it smashed into the ground. The engine was salvageable, so it didn't take much effort to figure out that homemade planes made of solid balsa or other wood was the way to go. When you crashed them, a little glue and they would be ready to go the next day. Often you could still fly them even with half the elevator busted off.

I started flying with hang gliders and then moved on to a home built ultralight. It was a foreign concept to me that I had to have direct supervision to work on my own airplane. Fortunately, the guy who had just done the annual on the first GA aircraft we purchased was a very agreeable person. So, it was not much of a problem. But I have known so many other people who have been completely ripped off every step of the way after they became aircraft owners.

If we do decide to get another airplane it will be a kit that I will be able to work on without supervision after it is completed. I really like the little SeaReys and have both models available on MSFS 2020. I probably will end up with a kit with folding wings so that we won't feel compelled to live on an airport anymore.
