Hooligans in Florida terrorized motorists, including one with a baby on board, and set a fire in a chaotic street takeover last month, according to shocking footage.
Sportscar drivers accompanied by dozens of belligerent spectators took over the intersection of the South John Young Parkway and Central Florida Parkway on Nov. 30, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said — turning the roadway into a hellscape for innocent passersby
Video posted by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office shows fire set to the road right outside the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, with flashy coupes performing smoke-laden donuts and fiendish hangers-on attacking cars as they attempt to escape the madness.
“There’s a baby in the car,” one woman desperately yelled at the individuals who were pounding and jumping on her car.

The snarky racists are probably democrat/ANTIFA trolls in their mothers’ basements posting this racist crap to make FR look racist.
Last year, bridges to the Florida Keys were closed off by “them” (mostly Hispanic).
When the bridges and miles of roadways were clear, owners of expensive sportscars raced one another.
Police, held up in traffic, were unable to make arrests.
WTH? I mean WT actual Hell!? The racism on Free Republic is certainly raising its ugly head more and more. I wish Jim would reel it in.
Thanks.
Come on, Ron...
Get back to FL and straighten the mess out...
Everyone has a point of view, FRiend...but recognizing how crime and jail inhabitants is over-represented by relatively small segments of the population is simply dealing with reality.
It is sad but Yogi is usually right.
But it is no small task in today's overly-permissive society, with the problems excerbated as they are by uneven, politically influenced law enforcement and judges who won't mete out deserved punishments.
To be fair, illegal drag racing has been something a few generations have done. I owned muscle cars when I was young. I didn’t race them, but recently, a younger sibling admitted to racing my car on empty roadways.
But, young people today are taking over city streets, doing spinouts, endangering other people. They seem to want to live out the ‘Fast & Furious’ movies in real life.
Contrary to what some posters might believe, it’s usually a mixture of young people. One incident that stands out happened last year. A 26yo man (white) got off his bike and kicked in a car window where two children were sitting. The woman driver (black) got out, and he pulled a gun on her. The video was wild, especially because the woman did not back down: https://x.com/rawsalerts/status/1708952705614401627
Agree, society is indeed fractured...and the current administration did nothing to work to resolve issues. Just the opposite, it seems.
So essentially a riot occurred, no one called 911? Police didn’t get there in time?? Usual suspects ‘can’t be identified’?? IOW they get away with a riot and terrorizing people. Guarantee Orange County citizens never hear another word about this. TIME and LOCATION are apparently also ‘anonymous’ in the Crimeline posts I found
He has to take “firm & successful” to position himself for 2028... IMHO...
That concern can be expressed in a way that doesn’t condemn *all* Black people -
- but condemning all Black people is what the racists here are doing, and want to do.
I’ve been reading FR since it was begun, and was reading Mr. Robinson’s posts on the Whitewater Usenet newsgroup even before.
In the beginning, we didn’t see the level of racism and crudeness that we see now, nor for years after.
Perhaps.
But I honestly think that’s the sentiment you are assigning to such comments, as a group. Aren’t you, as you suggest, also “condemning all”...and openly labeling people as racists as well. I do not think I have ever called any individual a racist. Perhaps calling out Democrats for their attitude of racism of low expectations but that’s a different matter.
Anyway, I try to always remember that on the internet, how I percieve a comment may likely not be as the poster intended.
You have a fine evening and a happy holiday season, FRiend.
I believe returning to sensible, even-handed law enforcement coupled with the same during court proceedings will fix a multitude of issues in America, both social and tangible.
You can thank Øbowel and his BLM goons. He and other liberals encouraged the actin’ out.
A lot of people that were borderline with marginal negro behavior flipped off the tolerance switch.
Odd you do not mention the negro community’s collective behavior and how it has changed.
A liberal’s “racism” may be a realist’s “reality”
maybe examine your perspective.
I don’t need to. I am not a Liberal. I also do not assume that as a Conservative I must jump to conclusions about race. Nor do I refer to other human beings as “that species.”. I don’t wear rose colored glasses but neither do I carry a broad paint brush.
It is disturbing. Too many forget that good, decent, hard working people of any race barely make the news. If it bleeds, it ledes. We can get a very screwed up picture of human beings in general if we base our assessment of them on what the media decides is important news.
