Dear Robert,
I wanted to share some good news regarding the annual National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA), an important piece of legislation that provides funding and sets policies for the U.S. Department of Defense.
First, the effort to "Draft our Daughters" has been thwarted for another year! Language requiring women to register with the Selective Service (which would make them eligible for any future military drafts) has been removed from this year's NDAA.
In addition, this year's NDAA includes a provision that prohibits taxpayer funding of "gender transition" procedures for the children of service members. This marks the first time a federal law will protect minors from these harmful procedures. It is particularly stunning when you consider that the provision survived the Democrat-controlled Senate. Praise God!
And finally, language that would have expanded in vitro fertilization (IVF) without pro-life safeguards has been removed from this year's NDAA. Our team has been working for months to ensure that federal legislation dealing with IVF includes pro-life protections. We consider the removal of the problematic IVF language a huge victory!
The bill passed the House and will get a Senate vote next week. Please pray that these positive changes will remain in the final bill.
I want to thank everyone who contacted their members of Congress and prayed for this NDAA. I also want to thank you for supporting FRC Action through your prayers, engagement, and giving. You make our work on Capitol Hill advocating for policies consistent with a biblical worldview possible.

Wait. I thought that women can do anything men can do. That’s what they say. They should face the draft.
Women want to force their way into combat units, and cause the lowering of standards? Then fine - they should have to register for the draft just like the men who they claim to be just as good as.
Amen...though it is only registration for a draft that will never happen anyway. But at least be consistent.
“Wait. I thought that women can do anything men can do. That’s what they say. They should face the draft.”
You’re full of crap. I have two daughters that fall in the draft age. They are not lunatic feminists either.
There are a lot of posts on Youtube about women demanding equality but when the draft is mentioned they say it should be men only.

If we are desperate enough for men that we need a draft, then the last thing we should be doing is replacing men with girls.
The selective service/draft does not just draft combat troops. There are a lot of support positions that women can fill.
I have no problem whatsoever with women being required to register for the draft just as guys are. However,OTOH,I’ve always been *absolutely* opposed to any female being ordered anywhere near combat (except for doctors and nurses) and always will be opposed.

The truth is that there has been consistent pressure from feminists and their allies to keep lowering standards in the military - especially in combat specialties - to accommodate more and more women. That is dangerous, but pushing against that has become politically impossible. The overwhelming mass of younger women in particular support that because it isn't real for them. It's just a "cause" for women! Yay!
So if we want to change that, we have to make it real for them and not just some stupid "cause". And the best way to get young women to face that reality is making them subject to registering for the draft as the price for that "equal opportunity" crap. If they suddenly decide they don't support it as much as they thought, then maybe we can get back to upholding higher physical standards and quit treating combat service as just another "cause."
FPV drone pilots.
Killing somebody by remote control has an appeal to women for some reason.
include all military age persons
no college deferral
makes a draft less likely to happen
💯.
IMO a very good argument can be made for *any* qualified physician or nurse being close to combat. The closer a doctor is to the front the better chances a wounded soldier has of survival.
They can work in medical and supply areas. Plenty of jobs that can free men for combat.
Yeah yeah, let’s make war slaves out of young traditional Christian girls raised to want to build a family. And we’re doing it to get revenge on the Milton lesbians and radfems.
Any other bright ideas?
Hundred percent with you. I can’t think of a worse idea than to fill the military with females. Or to draft young women who were raised as normal, good Christian girls, that would like to marry and have a family. Only a completely depraved nation would send them involuntarily and put them under the command of lesbians and make them work with a pack of men, in a military environment.
And someone always chimes out and says they can do jobs like medic or typist.
Right now by law, no MOS can be sex specific. If they get drafted, they cannon will send them to combat arms. Utterly disgusting and depraved.
