I honestly wouldn’t put it past the “powers that be” to do a false flag incident with drones between now and 1/20.

Looks like a test of the base defenses/security.
Option 1) Foreign intelligence (through proxies or otherwise) testing to see what they can get away with, and a bonus for any intel they can gather.
Option 2) Some domestic national security entity, also testing defenses/security. Sorta like “White hat” hacking. For the betterment of security.
Option 3) Domestic (compartmentalized) entity testing their own surveillance technology, to see how much they can get away with, but not specifically to test security. Trials on domestic targets as practice.
Option 3 would explain why all enforcement and local/state governments appear to be told to stand down and not intervene.
Shoot it down. Call the Air National Guard up to shoot them down.
Better forgiveness than permission. The Nebraska governor can do a mea culpa later.
Shoot a laser pointer at them and see what happens.
