Ménière disease is a disorder caused by fluid buildup in the chambers in the inner ear.

Meniere's disease is an inner ear problem that can cause dizzy spells, also called vertigo, and hearing loss.

.

I had never heard of it before.

I have it. I would not wish it upon my worst enemy. Constant ringing in one ear. Sudden and extreme attacks of vertigo out of nowhere. The entire world immediately starts spinning. You lose balance and frequently have to sit or lay down before you fall. Wild nausea and vomiting. Some attacks last 20 minutes. I’ve some attacks that have lasted for 12 hours.

It’s horrid. Huey Lewis has it. That’s why he no longer tours.
