Has anyone watched the streaming show on Amazon Prime titled Cross?
Same here, we always give a new show a chance by watching the first whole episode. This show made us uncomfortable, we expected something like the Cross movies before, this was disappointing and a waste of time.
It isn’t translation, it is mistranslation. Cross is NOTHING like the great books. And starting Reacher with 5 ‘7” Tom Cruise then putting in a properly sized and formidable Reacher, but mistranslating the story and cast as an episode of Marvel comics, killed Reacher for me. Read a Reacher book, then binge watch season 2 and you will see what I mean.

Didn’t he switch to teen fantasy/fiction with his Maximum Ride series?
I read most of his Alex Cross “Along Came A Spider” genre.

Lioness is pushed on streaming services, but a 120 lb woman as a warrior kicking butt and killing men who are 180-220 is laughable. Maybe if she shot them from afar, but I am guessing it is mostly hand to hand combat. Laughable..
I will say this for the first Cruise Reacher movie. At the time the movie came out, I never heard of the Reacher series. The movie piqued my interest and I started reading the series. So, thanks to the first film, I was introduced to the series. In fact, Lee Child has said the same. Many fans of Reacher now was introduced to the character and series because of the Tom Cruise film.
