Americans, our long national nightmare, the Biden presidency, is almost over. First, we must endure six more weeks of damage that President Joe Biden will inflict on the American people.
Biden just gave Hunter, his son who was convicted on gun and tax evasion charges, an expansive 11-year pardon, after repeatedly promising he would not engage in such familial favoritism. Biden’s lies were so egregious that at a recent White House press briefing, CNN reporter MJ Lee asked a very pertinent question, “The next time that the president says he will or won’t do something, why should the American people believe him?”

I thought you could only give a pardon for a conviction.
Trump has already shown more leadership in a few weeks than ByeDem has in 4 years.
This is Biden’s last week. He will take off for Christmas and unless he is needed for a sound bite or to sign off on anything(like he has done for the last four years), he is basically done. Only real work I see him doing is pardons and giving money to Ukraine.
I pray that it all goes thru easily and peacefully on Jan 20 but the Dems must have something up their sleeve. They DO NOT give up this easily.
Hunter had to plead guilty because any trial would have been after Biden left office....and voila...no pardon for you.
Don’t forget...Congress gets sworn in on Jan 3rd.

Ford pardoned Nixon for all offenses which “he has committed or may have committed”.
So he was pardoned for everything - regardless of whether or not there was a conviction, an indictment or even an investigation.
I fully expected Joe Biden to pardon Hunter.
Joe knows that he is nearly finished, so Joe did his best for his wayward son.
I fully expect Hunter will screw up in the coming years.
Sadly, the stench and damage done won’t instantly vanish at 1201 1/20/2025. Likely at least two years of blockades until midterms. Then it could get real ugly.

Yep, that is the reality of it. Trump is going to get nothing but obstruction from both the GOP and the Democrats. And Trump cannot relax one bit for the next fours years and he better have eyes in the back of his head.
This is just the beginning...
While that is the positive, it is also the negative because Biden is still allowed to destroy this nation from within. Time to impeach & convict both Biden & Harris. Mike Johnson then becomes president until the inauguration is held.
