"Singer-songwriter Gwen Stefani, a Catholic, commented on a reel ChurchPOP posted of Napa Institute’s Eucharistic procession with Father Mike Schmitz.

The Oct. 10 procession in New York City drew approximately 5,000 Catholics, including priests, nuns, and laity. Father Mike Schmitz began the event with Mass, followed by Benediction and a Eucharistic procession through the streets of Manhattan.

In her response, Stefani said the procession was “beautiful and brave.”

I am surprised. I’ve liked some of her music, and thought she was good in the movie, “The Aviator,” but never really delved into her personal life or views. I guess I assumed, especially after her doing a song with Moby, that she was just another hollyweird leftist, but credit where credit is due, good for her for recognizing the meaning of Christmas, probably at some degree of risk to her career.
