I remember a story she told from way back when No Doubt was just getting started. She said she pestered the crap out of her brother to let her in the band. He relented and the band took off big time after "Just a Girl" was released.
I saw No Doubt open up for a reggae act at a bar in college.
After the show, they sat down at a table and sold merch. I remember signing up for their mailing list and for a while, I'd get fliers from them in the mail.
Wish I had saved some of them.
