Hmmmm. Something happened on this date. Seems like it was kind of a big thing.
I am afraid that our entertainment and isolation and enemies have made us hard-hearted towards the deaths of our military.
I had to go to people’s homes and tell them that their Soldier was dead.
I had to be in charge of funeral details and see families face the death of their Soldier.
I had to help families transition from being a military family.
The pain and grief was almost unbearable.
It made me much more concerned about my Soldiers.
I think that every registered voter should be put in a pool and randomly selected to help notify families, attend military funerals and assist families transitioning from the military.
My late father-in-law was a US Navy Medical Corpsman, stationed at Pearl Harbor ... He described that as a “very busy day”.
Huge respect for you. I’ve worked with a couple of guys who had also assumed that duty for a while.
Thank you for your service and thank you for taking on that very, very difficult task. Not just anybody can do that.
On December 7, 1941 some Japanese did some stuff.
