Army plays Tulane for the AAC title.
Most likely Army won’t make the playoffs, because they won’t pass any of the other 5 conference champions in the rankings, but it would have been interesting, because they would still play Navy next week, and then would have had their playoff game the week after.
Even though Army and Navy are in the same conference it doesn’t count as a conference game, which is why they play the Conference Championship Game the week before.
You wonder, if Army had made their game with Notre Dame closer, could they have gotten in the playoffs.
And Boise State punches their ticket.
