Putin ally says 'we are on brink of nuclear war' with Ukraine turned into 'radiation zone'

Russia could end the war in Ukraine with a nuclear strike that turns the country into a "radiation zone", an ally of Vladimir Putin has chillingly warned.

Russian oligarch Konstantin Malofeyev warned that the world is "on the brink of nuclear war".

Discussing the prospect of a Russian nuclear strike on Ukraine, he added: "There will be a radiation zone nobody will ever go into in our lifetime. And the war will be over."

-snip-

He added: "We want a long-term peace — some sort of general agreement about the global order. Trump wants to go down in history, he'll be 80 soon, he's a grandfather.

"Putin's not 50 anymore either. It'll be the legacy they both leave us."

Next you will be trying to tell us that there’s no CIA in the Ukraine either.

Besides meat waves, there is nothing more that Russians love than making radioactive zones.

“ is a Slavic civil war that is ongoing since the breakup of the Soviet Union.”

Ukraine is a sovereign nation .

That right there says a lot...

It really does. Cornyn is a slimebag RINO who votes with the Democrats frequently. How he keeps his seat is beyond me. I wish we’d successfully primary him with a true conservative. Attempts have been made, but the slimebag must be greasing the right palms or something.

Cruz is a true conservative. Speedy doesn’t like him because he doesn’t vote to give Ukraine unaudited billions of our tax dollars. He doesn’t support the Biden money-laundering operation.

That there was a secret meeting with Kim Jong Il, wherein he was shown all the nuclear targets in his county that would be hit, if he did not negotiate, helped a lot.

“Ukraine is a sovereign nation.”

The Ukraine doesn’t look very sovereign to me. The Ukraine has lost 50% of its population, two generations of men, and is being torn apart by competing powers.

Where in the world do you live? In Europe, the winds are west to east - same as in the US.

And the Chicom bastards were a lot tougher than the Russian bastards.

Very tough with military toys that sink, fall apart, have water in fuel tanks, troops that are 1st class wimps, have lost every war they fought since Genghis Khan, low moral, poorly trained and armed, but are really really good at parades and in military propaganda films.

There is no way that China can sustain large loses without the country rebelling - families depend on the male children to take care of them - there is no Social Security, welfare, food stamps, Medicaid, Medicare.

The heady days of Mao and Korea are long gone. Any real military venture would destroy the Party and Xi Jinping knows that.

---- "Where in the world do you live? In Europe, the winds are west to east - same as in the US."

Far, far more complex than that.

See: Wind Mean Direction

From weather.us, and of course these changeable conditions vary with the season throughout Europe.

Nuking Ukraine would irradiate Russia itself, as well as much of the rest of Europe.

Even Putin isn't that dumb.

Not to say I take this 749th threat of nuclear holocaust seriously but for sake of accuracy, wind patterns in winter in that region can vary from one regime to another, one fairly frequent variation is a blocking high over Russia creating a s.e. wind flow that was in place also during Chernobyl, hence the severe radiation problems that hit Belarus and Baltic states in Apr 1986 while Kyiv was relatively spared. Sweden and Poland also were badly affected because of that wind pattern.

But there are times with a west to southwest wind flow also, that would take radiation (in central ukraine presumably) towards southern parts of Russia such as Belgorod and Rostov. And there are other possible patterns too, just as we see in N America, flow could also be NW or NE taking radiation towards Crimea or Romania. etc.

So if Russia planned such an event, they would have different wind patterns to incorporate into planning and could decide also where a lot of the radiation would end up.

The crazy nuke threats are not a good look for your side.

Tell your Biden to quit pardoning criminals.

President Trump will eat Putin’s lunch in negotiations.

Your mom will throw up her lunch when she accidentally picks up your Special Ukraine Sock off your computer desk.

There are frequent references [here], to China being desirous of Siberia.

So you are saying might makes right.
Are you ok with getting rid of the electoral college here in the US so big cities can rule over red states?
Same concept

I’d add that Russia has used thousands of “nuclear capable” smaller missiles on Ukraine, so far, by their very own statements of missile attacks made. And ATACMS and Storm Shadow are shorter range than many of the Russian missile, AND ATACMS and Storm Shadow have been ok’d for medium range use only in Crimea and a small area around Kursk.

Did anyone notice that marcusspamusallmaximally only uses President Trump as a tool to troll us freepers about Ukraine, Russia and The Putin?

I mean, he literally took election day [November 5, 2024] off from Free Republic, and didn't celebrate Trump's victory like the rest of us.

On November 6th, he resumed spamming Free Republic with his new trolling tool, the victorious Trump.

He was on NONE of the Trump celebration threads - just renewed Ukraine spam.

Fascinating, hey?
