White House reporters are already “exhausted” with President-elect Donald Trump’s second term before it even starts, members of the press corps told Vanity Fair on Wednesday.
In the article, titled “Reporters Brace for the Frenzy of a Second Trump White House,” New York Times White House correspondent Peter Baker said, “Anybody who went through it the last time remembers how nonstop it was.”
“It ends up kind of becoming all-consuming and taking over your life. It wears you down,” he lamented

Trump should kick out all the fake news members until they explain to the public how they have been lying, apologize for that, and after they pay fines for undeclared campaign contributions (if not serve jail time).
Yeah non-stop. Unlike now where there is no reporting or investigating, ergo no real work unless its covering up or lying.
That is a brilliant suggestion!
Watch these pansies wail when Trump boots half of the corporate presstitutes for bloggers and influencers. CNN and MSNBC need to be excluded from day 1.
Well what did they expect? That is what happens when you spend your time acting as a gatekeeper and PR department for the democrats and RINOs instead of doing your job.
YOU GUYS CAUSED THE FRENZY by your insane breathless reporting and contorting of even the simplest thing Trump does and in a reporting style that implied catastrophe and chaos.
Try being real reporters for a while and see if your "exhaustion" clears up.
Well, if they viewed it as a profession/job rather than as the ultimate moral crusade, perhaps it wouldn’t consume their entire life.
They’re gonna love the press-pool unisex Port-o-Potty.
That’s a great idea, too. I wonder if any of these concepts would make it past his saboteurs and get to his chief of staff or whoever governs planning.

Who new that journalists were the new coal miners?
Hoo, boy, howdy.
They can take a long rest. They will be replaced with podcasters.
Poor, sweet babies who have female, reproductive organs between their legs are tired because they now have to deal with a REAL president and administration who are already getting things done! ;-)
The next four years—can’t wait. They’ll create a lot of resistance, but the Trump Train will roll all over them.
Can you believe it—not even January 6th and they’re moving mountains—just wow.
So, they’re used to just getting a handout each morning and afternoon and screwing off the rest of the time. Oh, poor babies. The burnout is heading their way fast and hard.
I thought surely that was the Babylon Bee.
Will they be asking Trump what flavor ice cream he will be having? Anything beyond that would be too confusing for them.
