Kyiv’s Security Service salvaged the remains of the new hypersonic ballistic missile Russia fired at central Ukraine as it warned that Moscow would transform Ukraine into a “testing ground” for its bombs.
Charred fragments of the new Oreshnik missile were put on display for reporters on Sunday following its use last week against a military site in Dnipro.
The Oreshnik, Russian for hazel tree, appears to be based on Moscow’s RS-26 Rubezh intercontinental ballistic missile and is capable of carrying either conventional or nuclear warheads.
Several destroyed components of the rocket were recovered from the blast, including mangled wires and an airframe the size of a large snow tire.
“It should be noted that this is the first time that the remains of such a missile have been discovered on the territory of Ukraine,” an expert with Ukraine’s Security Service told the Associated Press.

Update on the conflict in Ukraine for November 24, 2024…
Russia has retaliated against the use of Western-manufactured missiles inside Russian territory by firing an intermediate-range ballistic missile with multiple independently targetable reentry vehicles at military industrial targets in eastern Ukraine;
The missile had previously been prohibited under the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces Treaty with such missiles constituting the primary means of nuclear exchange between the Soviet Union and NATO in Europe during the Cold War;
The stark warning comes at a time when Ukrainian forces are rapidly deteriorating and the prospect of a widespread collapse increases;
US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan has acknowledged that weapon deliveries aren’t Ukraine’s primary problem, but a lack of trained manpower, unrealistically urging Ukraine to mobilize more men;
The US is attempting to continue exhausting Russia, raising the costs of the conflict as much as possible, including through the possibility of wider direct intervention before Ukrainian forces completely collapse;
The prospect of Russia and NATO exchanging conventional long-range strikes continues to rise, thus also raising the risk of a nuclear exchange;

Was that recent?
no “Iron Dome” can stop it.

THAAD can easily.
It was a demonstration that there is no effective deterrent to a MACH 10 nuclear capable MIRV in theater.
Then why didn’t it?
Last year...
Not in theater. Easy answer.
Where TF is “in theater” if not Ukraine where we have been conducting a proxy war on Russia since 2014?
They were cement heads like we’d use in the army. Dummies if you will. Big shot over the bow. We need to stop the pushing for war and push Ukraine to negotiate the peace. First step is cutting off any and all aid. Bring them to the table, or the grift will continue.
We'll see.
THAAD has not been deployed in Ukraine.
Why TF not, Einstein?
This war is not a Russia vs Ukraine war, it is a USA vs Russia war. It's not even debatable. The war would never have occurred, much less gone on for years, without the $250,000,000,000+ the USA processed through the Ukraine laundromat.
Perhaps it’s time to revisit the Rods From God concept.
ZEEPER FOLLIES PINGLIST!(((PING!)))
what a laughable comment. It’s the Russians threatening to initiate a nuclear exchange. 🙄
Above your pay grade, and mine too.
Let me speculate, we don't have an unlimited number of THAAD systems.
We are provoking a trans arctic ballistic missile attack.
If you were in charge would you deploy THAADs to defend Kiev or Washington DC (where you live)?
If I were in charge I would never have told Ukraine to ignore the Minsk agreements and there would be no reason to deploy THAAD missiles to Ukraine.
We started the war, and continue to conduct it. It appears to me that the Deep State and Soros want Russia to launch a successful nuclear attack on Ukraine so they can have plausible deniability for the inevitable nuclear world war that will follow.
