Eggplant

The food that is richest in nicotine concentration is eggplant. Eggplant contains a nicotine concentration of 100 ng/g. This vegetable is also a very good dietary source of fiber, vitamin B1, vitamin B6 and potassium. According to "The Encyclopedia of Healing Foods" by Michael T. Murray, the health benefits of eggplant consumption are directly linked to the presence of a strong antioxidant called nasunin 35. Nasunin protects the body against free radical damage, helps rid the body of excess iron and helps lower cholesterol levels.

I grow 5 or 6 different types of eggplant and then bought more in to freeze dry for later.

My favorite is the long thin Chinese type.

Per the abstract of the journal article link you posted...

“The SARS-CoV-2 glycoprotein contains a neurotoxin-like region that has sequence similarities to the rabies virus and the HIV glycoproteins, as well as to snake neurotoxins,...”

We also used to use tobacco as a worm medicine for the cows and horses on the farm.

I saw a lot of volunteer tobacco in the fields after harvest this year and was going to ask the neighbors if I could pick some. It’s frozen now.I forgot.

The food in the 1960s had fewer additives and far more people ate home cooked food. Fast food was there, but fried chicken and French fries were fried in lard or beef tallow and not seed oils. Most livestock were pasture raised as the feedlot industry was in its infancy.

Offsetting that advantage is the fact that a majority of adults smoked and lung cancer and emphysema were far more common. Lung cancer deaths peaked in the early 1990s and have declined ever since, as fewer Baby Boomers and succeeding generations took up smoking compared with the Silent and GI (Greatest) Generations. The medical industry has made great advances in cardiology. As a result, the average life expectancy in America increased from 66.7 years in 1960 to 78.9 years in 2020.

Yeah.
There is a crusade against tobacco going on right now.
It’s ironic, that the same people who are most upset about smoking are the biggest proponents of marihuana, which is by all means more harmful than tobacco.

It seems to me that the e-cigarettes solved the problem of nicotine delivery. But the crusaders are now fighting even them?!
Maybe eating eggplant is the solution?🤣

From goggle

Nicotine is being researched as a potential treatment for many conditions, including:
Parkinson’s disease: Nicotine may help with concentration and focus.
Alzheimer’s disease: Nicotine may help with concentration and focus.
Depression: Nicotine may help people with severe depression focus.
Schizophrenia: Nicotine may partly attenuate sensory gating and attentional deficits associated with schizophrenia.
Sarcoidosis: Nicotine patches may help improve lung disease and reverse the progression of the disease.

From myself:
That smokers are lot less susceptible to Alzheimer and Parkinson is a long known fact.

It helps a lot in depression and other mental disorders.
I know people who were basically prescribed (recommended) smoking to control their mental problems.

Nicotine also helps with concentration and keeps people going.
E.g. truck drivers are often big smokers.

there are many derivatives of nicotine used in medicine. e.g. Vitamin B is actually nicotinic acid and/or nicotinamide, both derived from nicotine.

Yes, smoking is not healthy, but because inhaling tar is not healthy!
So is smoking pot!

Tucker developed his own brand because the major brand gives to liberal causes so I would assume he likes nicotine money a lot.

Do I need to say it? OK: Fixed it.
