(The above is not a statement of fact. It is either opinion, or satire, or both.)

The amulet indicates that the story was known in the 5th century. Not that it was true.
Would an amulet bearing an image of Hercules defeating a monster prove that story's truth? Or that it was a story known and told at the time.
The "Testament of Solomon" is not inspired scripture. It's early Hebrew fan fiction.

2000 years from now they are going to find a Harry Potter doll and decide that this proves he was a real person.

In one of the Nat Lamp’s “True Facts” issues was a news clipping (they used reader-submitted clippings) about an archaeological dig, I think in Iceland. A small doll-like figure was found, seemed like a major discovery!
Then it was cleaned and proved to be a Stretch Armstrong.

Or, you know, the fact that it wasn’t part of the original text...

Sounds like that guy who keeps sending things he digs up in his backyard to the Smithsonian.
I never figured out if the guy is bonkers or just having the time of his life reading their rejection letters.
Of course it could be both.

BTW, the demon slayer’s name in ancient times, remarkably, was buffy!

Or, you know, the fact that it wasn’t part of the original text... Didn't a bunch of individuals get together and just agree on what books to add, or not add? If so, then there was no 'original text'. Not like the book just fell out of the sky complete.

I really wasn’t expecting that it would. :^) Would make some nice decor, but smuggling is so risky and expensive...
