Let me try that again:
Bankruptcy law is my field, and it’s rather simple - maximizing value for creditors is the only objective in liquidation. Humiliating the debtor is not factored in. Since the families are the vast majority of the creditor pool, it’s hard to understand how they could favor a lower bid.
It's money that they have not received yet and will never receive. The bankruptcy sale is supposed to be used to cover as much of the debt as possible and discharge the rest of the judgement. They ambulance chasers want it both ways. They want to steal infowars but not discharge the debt, which defeats the purpose of bankruptcy. They have declared that the thirteenth amendment does no apply to Jones and they own him and his identity.
Can’t the bankruptcy judge mandate that the bid that provides the most money for the creditors be accepted?
