Let me try that again:

Bankruptcy law is my field, and it’s rather simple - maximizing value for creditors is the only objective in liquidation. Humiliating the debtor is not factored in. Since the families are the vast majority of the creditor pool, it’s hard to understand how they could favor a lower bid.
